Later, when we left the room with recyclable bottles, I asked the same front desk staff member about recycling options. Again, the response was unclear and I was directed toward a water fountain, which didn't answer the question. I shared this experience with the general manager, Veronica, who was receptive and professional. She explained that the property does not have recycling options and said she would address this with management and use the situation as a coaching opportunity to improve staff communication and customer engagement. The room itself was fine and met expectations, with no major issues. It's also worth noting that the hotel does not have suites--only standard and accessible rooms--so upgrades should not be expected, as confirmed by the general manager. Second, breakfast was not included, and when I asked the night before about the breakfast hours, we were told it was served until 11:00 AM. The next morning, however, we were told the schedule had changed, even though the paper with the hotel information had not been updated. At 10:50 AM, they told us that if we wanted, we could pay for lunch instead. Honestly, I thought it was a joke.

On my trip to the Baytown area, I chose this hotel as it was a newer hotel and the price was comparable to other similar hotels in the area. The rooms at Home2 Suites are large and roomy and come with all the amenities you need for one or more nights. The rooms have a kitchenette, plenty of space for your bags, enough room for a Yoga mat, large and comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. I also chose this hotel for the gym as it has modern gym equipment and a variety of equipment. The lobby is large and bright and has many areas to work and play for large groups and individuals. The Breakfast has many options incl, including hot and cold food and a selection of fresh fruits. Overall a very good, affordable hotel in the Baytown area.

For example, I tried to pour my dog some water from the sink, but I saw a few odd things in the water. (Little pieces of plastic and a bunch of small little things that I don't know how to identify.). There is a full sized refrigerator, cook top, dishwasher, garbage disposal, pool, and free laundry! While there are no ice machines, the refrigerator in your room has an ice maker!!!! There are a couple of outdoor gas grills with seating areas and an outdoor pool. We have decided that this is our go to hotel from now on! All of the front desk people were cheery and courteous especially Cel Osorio! She was fantastic. Can't wait to come back.

The cabinet that holds the microwave/ fridge and TV, the drawers kept sliding open. For me to be safe and not run into it I put the mini tea bags on between the top of the drawer and it stopped sliding open. The weirdest thing is that I found a pair of men underwear behind the bathroom door. Also, I had to hit two little black bugs on the wall. Now the good thing is the staff was very nice, greeted well and apologized for the issues.
