So you want a great place to live, somewhere that's near everything? Then Hyde Park has what you need. I've been here 15 years, and I love everything--it's close to Rt 42/freeway, Rt 130, Rt 295, Rt 676, Philly is just a few minutes away. This place has a FREE Gym, pickleball court, EV Charging, Bicycles for Tenants to Use!! They keep up on the groundskeeping--always looks great, and they have a cleaner for the hallways, too - it's always clean and smells great! The built-in pool rocks on a hot summer day (like today- 90 degrees!) Not that I need to call maintenance often--but, when I do, they're always fast and they get the job done correctly--the first time---gotta love that. And, these people are friends at this point---everyone--the office staff, maintenance, the cleaners, always nice and friendly--always smiling--even the maintenance men after completing a dirty job--still smiling and friendly. Speaking of 90 degrees, I'm in my apartment with Ice Cold Air Conditioning - in fact, I had to turn the AC Off--it was getting TOO COLD! What about the winter? Nice and Toasty, Comfortable. Snow shoveling, plowing? The maintenance crew covers all bases--and, they're on it nice and early when it snows--you won't ever be snowed in--not in this parking lot. The office staff - always friendly and helpful. They always seem to have some sort of activity for the tenants to participate in--photos of your pets, decorate your door for the holidays, Alex's Lemonade Stand, and every now and then-- free snacks - They make you Feel Welcome. Stores? Dollar general is right across the street--as is a pizza parlor, Chinese food, a bagel shop, and a doctor's office, and, I think there's a daycare over there, as well. And, next to that, a bank--if you want yours to be within walking distance. There's a 7-11 a few blocks away, an Aldi next to that, nearby Rt42 is a gas station and a Wawa. Shoprite supermarket is just one mile away--Dunkin Donuts, KFC, Chipotle, Dominos--One mile away. There are things I'm forgetting--and I urge you to check out Hyde Park for yourself--to find out the other great reasons to live here. I've been here 15 years. The residence misinformed me about the quality of my apartment as well as the amenities that would be provided. But I needed to leave my previous circumstance, so I feel like they took advantage of my situation. And then they consistently harassed me for two years to make my experience difficult and try to get me to move out to raise the rent prices. SLUMLORD ALERT! Do not rent from this complex. The apartments are run down, leaky, and there is absolutely no noise-mitigation between floors. The front office of this place is nonresponsive about everything from maintenance to nuisance neighbors but will take you to court & press attorney's fees the literal second their rent is late. They also do not run background checks on anyone, so you can expect to have noisy, alcoholic, or downright crazy neighbors. Make sure to stay out of the S Building especially, as there is currently an unmedicated schizophrenic living there that makes life miserable for everyone. I've been complaining for a year, yet they refuse to address the situation. If you rent here, you'll be disappointed right up to the moment you hire a Tenancy lawyer to claw your rent back. read more

Terrible. Don't move here, my fiancé didn't want to move here because he already didn't like the last morgan property apartment home he lived in 8 years ago and this wasn't any better. The apartments need to be updated and for not being updated they're way overpriced. They never replaced the carpets before I moved in and whoever painted before I moved in spray pained the stove top, the counter top, the fridge and the shower. Instead of dusting and cleaning before I moved in they just painted over all of the hair and dust on the heaters. And every drawer in the fridge was cracked. My whole building had mice running around and the leasing office said they didn't know anything about mice. Neighbors were noisy in the first 6 months of living there I was calling the cops for noise complaints at least once a week, the leasing office said that's the best I could do, that they couldn't do anything. The ceilings all had cracks and looked like they were about to collapse, our neighbors ceiling actually collapsed on them in the bathroom.. When it got hot out and I found out my air-conditioning didn't work in the bedroom, they told me they had a long line of people from the summer before who needed air conditioners and I had to wait in line, even though I had a three month old baby because "a lot of people have kids in the complex", we had to move all into the living room to sleep because the apartment was so hot and it took 5 weeks of me calling to finally get one, which means they never had me on a list and I would've went the whole summer without an air-conditioner if I wasn't advocating for myself. Then they put up papers saying they we're doing their annual maintenance checks and no one ever stopped at our apartment and I would've known because I was home the entire time and I put the chain up so I would know if someone tried to come in. Because of the experience I had here I will never go back to overpriced morgan properties and I will never recommend someone moving in here. read more

Horrible mouse problem. Found a mouse in the front door of the apartment squished. Mouse poop everywhere, clothes and food chewed up, holes all over the walls, neighbors and everyone catching 5 or more mice a night in traps. Disgusting. They don't even fix the issues you complain about. Rent is ridiculously expensive as well. read more

I have never experienced such distrust and upset in an apartment complex. I am beyond grateful I only signed an 8 month lease, and with due caution might I add that I did so. The first few months of living here I had my car broken into, along with my partners'. I had to file police reports, and take extra caution in my day to day living in this complex. The noise of the door slamming shut almost daily mixed with mice, broken appliances that frequently fail me, a refrigerator that practically icicles my food. Happy to be leaving soon. And I am hoping that management can see the trauma this type of living arrangement can have on individuals in this complex. No environment to raise a child in. read more

Your neighbors here are going to be absolutely amazing. No nosy neighbors or complainer types. Very quiet for the most part and everyone is very polite. however I never stayed at a place that "needs to get in and check your apartment" so much in my life. Its very disruptive and extreamly invasive. I had gallbladder surgery that had many complications with it (because a few months before I had a diff surgery to remove a part of my intestines) and i was unable to put pants on or walk for over a month. I cldnt sleep in my bed because I cldnt use certain muscles in my stomach to get out of bed. so I slept on a recliner In my living room. Then I got a day ahead of time notice that They "needed to check our house" this was like the second day out of my month long hospital stay and I told them.... No.... I CNT even put on pants or walk. Nobody's coming in my home atm! The management team said ok well put it down to stay out of your place but when they came that morning they still knocked like they were gonna break down my door. then this rude guy yelled open the door! And I said no I talked to management and he screamed over me that he's coming in (and he did....he also broke my chain I had on the door he opened the door so hard) i barely had time to cover up. It was very intrusive and rude. Management apologized and all but a few weeks later they had to get in for other reasons. it's rediculous how many times they just barge into your apartment and you have no say in it. Also the apartments are sorta small. We asked for a place w updates and a dish washer but we didn't get ine. The laundry room we Nick named the murder room because...well that's what it looks like lol. Looks like a scene from saw.the light is on a motion detector and when your at the dryer it turns off and it's really scary down there. I hate that! Ya gotta walk to the door waving arms about to get the light back on. Also the washer and dryer haven't worked since I moved in two years ago. No hot water in the washer and the dryer takes 99 minutes to dry half a load of laundry . ive seen other buildings wash rooms and they are a little nicer then ours is. I won't be renewing here again. I love the neighbors and the neighborhood but I have alot of health problems and Im sick alot I DNT need all the knocks at my door so ppl can walk through my house. I'm not a meth cook I shldnt need this crap to happen 5/6/7 times a year! read more

I really would like to give two and a half stars. Hyde Park isn't terrible, but it's not great either. We lived in a 2 bedroom here for 2 years and aren't renewing our lease. Pros: Convenient location if you're commuting into Philadelphia via the Walt Whitman Bridge. Decent sized living room and bedrooms. Good amount of closet space. Parking is never a problem. No issues with leaks or mold. Soundproofing between apartments in the walls is good... Cons: ... but soundproofing between floors isn't so great. There were days in the winter I ran the a/c just so I wouldn't have to listen to my downstairs neighbors' dog barking or kids screaming. The price has gone up significantly each year to the point where it's not worth the money. Last year rent went up over $100 a month and if we were renewing it would be around an additional $80. This is my biggest complaint. Quality of neighbors, on the other hand, is going down. (Ex: the man who decided to blare his car radio one Saturday morning while cleaning out his car.) Pet "deposit" is non-refundable. Maintenance is hit-or-miss; I've had great experiences and then we've had to fight to convince them that our dryer squawked (because this started once it got warm and not immediately, this issue required multiple requests to be fixed). Can't open the fridge door all the way because of washer/dryer placement, which we didn't know until we moved in because the washer/dryer wasn't in yet. If you really need a place, Hyde Park will do. It's not dreadful, mostly overpriced for what it is, which is a mediocre apartment complex. read more

My family, and I have been living at Hyde Park Apartments for the past 4 years. We have had a wonderful experience! I was drawn to Hyde Park, because of its convenient location. It's located minutes from I676, which heads towards Philadelphia, and it's also nestled minutes from Route 42, which gives you easy accessibility to the Atlantic City Expressway. Also, there are a variety of stores located next to the complex. For example, Shopright, Wawa, The Dollar General, and Royal Farms just to name a few. In addition to its convenient location, Hyde Park has a variety of amenities to accommodate their residents. My family, and I enjoy utilizing the complex's laundry facilities, the dog park, outdoor health & fitness facility, and last but certainly not least the luxurious in-ground pool. I have truly enjoyed living at Hyde Park Apartment Complex, and have no intentions in moving anytime soon. read more
