Idk how they roast or what kind of process makes their roasting different but the roasted cashews I had were SO divine and meaty and warm and just perfect. A lot to say on just one type of nut but truly so so so so distinct and so good!! Yes the place is pricey but from what I got and tried I kind of get it. Yes they have the Dubai chocolate here - didn't get it but have heard great things from here. The customer service was very friendly and the guy at front got me to try some of their tea on my way out. I will have to stock up on this place for my trip back home, cannot belive I didn't come sooner.

The staff doesn't look happy to be there. Other customers ask him questions and he doesn't want to acknowledge them. I walked into the store and he gives me a look as if I'm bothering him when I said hello. This place has so much potential because they have really good treats and there's so much varieties, but just don't ask questions because the staff will make the shop very tense and awkward. I have gotten their halva, Turkish delight and nuts. And they're all very tasty. They also have so much varieties to choose from. They also have many things covered in chocolate.

Ordered a cheeseburger and a st marks morning sandwich breakfast (a breakfast burrito.) Food came more like Luke warm, but it is delivery. Food was amazing! Tons of flavors in the burrito, with good spice from the jalapeño, and the burger came with mayo and ketchup. Delivery guy was super nice. Will definitely order again when I get the early morning burger cravings.

Memberships are about $100 and while they were too busy to really help me at the time I was there (it was pretty crowded yikes!), I will return and get more info. If you are interested in joining, you must complete orientation and pay the $25 fee (non-refundable) and $100 equity investment (refundable upon giving them the finger and ending membership) BEFORE you are even allowed to set food into the co-op. There are no exceptions to this rule. Signing up is also dicey; you have to keep going to their website until there's an opening for orientation, which is rare. I sincerely wish someone would infiltrate this elite organization and destroy it from the inside. Kind of like the Night Manager, but in food-coop form. They'd be running so fast their Birkenstocks would fall off.

They eliminated delivery service a few years back and as a result, it prevents me from buying as much as I'd like. I can have groceries delivered via Amazon but I prefer shopping in person myself. I particularly like their seafood department as well as the cheese and produce. The nitpick would be that it sits on top the Gowanus Canal which is a cesspool of polluted water and carcinogens. 5 stars for everything else.

Instead customers should buy the items separately and pay by weight. This is what I did today : I bought one piece of salmon $7.95 and some carrots $3.33 for a total $11.28 instead of the meal price of $14. ( I have attached today's receipt for reference) Conclusion : If Whole Foods estimates that the prior meal portions are not profitable enough they should either discontinue the meal offer and customers should pay only by weight or they should bring down the meal price to $11. Simply makes no sense to offer a meal option that is more pricey than the sum of the parts unless they believe that customers are stupid

I set myself up with proper expectations. Bought two awesome juices here that would've been triple the price (seriously) if I bought them in Manhattan! Got a ceremonial grade matcha drink and a ginger tonic, both around $2.50 each. Service was lightning fast, he gave me a smile and wished me a great rest of my day. What else can you ask for in a bodega? Low prices, great service and a HUGE variety of provisions!
