Sure, they know all about what the teachers told them and are quick to parrot back to you what their teacher told them the week before, but talk to any student about real life for 3 minutes and discover just how stupid they really are. Both the AD's plus the head VB coach were very discriminatory. They don't care about Safety of their student worker or student athletes. Nor do they talk what they preach. I've experienced many uncomfortable situations involving a guy "stalking" me and many other students and SHELTON would go up to my friends that worked there at the time and deliberately tell them I was being dramatic and I wanted the attention and this and that. This was during the summer when No staff were around to even watch us or "work us" Sitting in the booth was my most scariest encounerment because no one was there except for the boy that would not leave me alone. Multiple texts were made to my bosses and they proceeded to say "you'll be fine" I left my shift early because of the fact i was Uncomfortable. I still feel silenced and hurt to this day because I poured my heart and soul into my AD's and they turn around and betrayed me. I was big on supporting student athletes. I was in charge of a task my Assistant AD told me to do. I did exactly that and realized an athlete who had perfect GPA since the minute they came to IUN until the minute they left did not get the award as deserved. I was told i was out of place and was told to stay out of business where business was placed in my hands. The level of disrespect created made me hate this place. Therefore if u plan on being a student athlete here of color. Think twice about your choices. I hope these Pity AD's see this and simply reflect on themselves to DO BETTER and TAKE BETTER CARE OF YOUR STUDENT ATHLETES. A year later of me graduating and I still hold his guilt not opening my mouth saying what I had to say even knowing what i was to say or do would be shut down in an instant. My experience with DeVry University has been frustrating and disappointing. From the very…read morebeginning, the enrollment process was marred by incorrect information. I was assured that my classes would be covered entirely by my employer, but now I'm facing unexpected charges that I shouldn't owe. The frequent changes in discounts have caused fluctuations in my tuition fees, sometimes varying by hundreds of dollars. This inconsistent billing has been a significant source of stress and distraction, making it hard to focus on my studies. Furthermore, it's nearly impossible to communicate effectively with a single representative, which only exacerbates the miscommunication issues. Although the online classes are relatively easy to follow, the ongoing billing problems overshadow any positives. The lack of clarity and support has made this experience more about managing confusing financial statements than enjoying my education. Overall, DeVry University needs to improve its communication and billing processes to avoid these issues for future students because it really just seems that they pressure people to join and then take advantage of them financially.

There are many opportunities to meet new people as long as you are willing to! Overal ONU has maintained their motto of Education with a Christian Purpose! The outter appears of…read morethe campus is aesthetically pleasing, and the academics are very competitive in preparing our future leaders. ONU has built some beautiful new campus buildings over the years but seem to have neglected upkeep and updates of the housing and food quality for students. Each move-in for our student has taken over an hour to clean the room-yet they expect the students to leave the rooms in spotless condition. The common areas of the lobby has furniture that looks similar to the same furniture that has been there for decades. ONU needs to invest in making sure these dorms for the heart of the school, the students, are looking just as updated as the outter appearance of the campus.

I like the convenience of this branch being in Valpo. I just wish they offered more classes here…read more So nice to not have to drive as far. Plus the classes sizes are typically small. Easy to get around here as opposed to larger campuses. Perfect for Valpo and nearby towns' students.
