In 2010 I was in a multi-vehicle auto accident, the at-fault driver didn't realize that traffic was at a complete stop and collided into the car behind me and pushed me into a large plumbing truck that was stopped in front. The worst part was that this lady immediately started saying that we all backed-up into her!!! I was pretty shaken up since I had a small car (Eclipse), I had to go to the ER and they thought it was just a bad sprain. A few months later when the pain didn't stop I found out through a few more tests, pain management and other conservation treatments (which failed to work) that I had a bad disc bulge that would not heal correctly without surgery and physical therapy. Becuase I'd never been in a situation like this, I weighed all my options and decided to look for legal help as I had no idea how to handle something like this. I had never sought legal advise before and had absolutely no idea what I was doing. A friend of mine recommended Hamed and his team so I decided to contact him and was delighted to meet with him and his cheerful and extremely helpful staff! Hamed and his team made everything really easy and they are great at staying in contact with me. I was really busy with work and school at the time and wasn't able to meet them in person as much, but they were completely supportive of that. I was able to contact them over the phone, through emails, and were in constant contact with updates and to just see how I was doing with my recovery, for nearly 2 years! Yes, you read right... nearly 2 years!! But, these things do take time, don't expect to have this resolved the next week. Hamed really fought for me with the insurance and was extremely fair when it came to my settlement. After everything was submitted to them, the insurance company completely dragged their feet and dragged things out, eg, they continuously requested the same information. Hamed and his team did not give up though, they were relentless and got me the full amount of the other guy's policy, meanwhile always keeping me in the loop as to what was going on. I was hit by a trash truck while riding my scooter in a bike lane. I found attorney Hamed Yazdanpanah aka Hess Panah and called him. He was very interested in the case enough to meet me at the hospital while i was waiting for medical care. He advised me to get every test imaginable. I told him i didnt believe i needed some and what if we lose the case, I dont want to be on the hook for thousands of dollars in medical fees. He assured me all will be covered and i dont need to worry about a thing. He has his top investigation on the case and I was in great hands. He was misleading and predatory in my opinion. Took advantage of me while i was clearly incapacitated from the accident. After hitting my head and receiving a slight concussion, he abused his status and knowledge of the law. He left the hospital after coaxing me into signing a retainer, no fee, he promised to call me the next day. He never called so i sent an email. He never responded to multiple calls, text or emails. 10 days later i decided to go and investigate the accident myself. I went to multiple stores and was able to get some amazing store owners to help me get security videos of right after the incident. Being time sensitive, the first week or two after any accident are so vital to be able to provide a strong case because video recordings are not stored forever. If Hess stuck to his promise of investigating in a timely manner, he would have had an amazingly easy case to put together with strong evidence since the trash trucks have GPS and Video recording on all vehicles. Since I have videos being provided, i now will be calling the trash companies and finding out exactly who hit me and drove away. So in conclusion, Hess lied and mislead a concussed hospital patient into signing retainer and then abandoned him and still to the time of writing this, has not called, text or emailed a reason why he abandoned me. I would never advise anyone to use this attorney if they are unfamiliar with the law and want someone to guide them. Thanks to MY own work, i will be filing a civil suit and speaking with the culver city police again about possible accident charges on the driver of the truck. I do hope he reviews the lapse in judgment and ethics on his handling of this entire interaction and is able to make necessary changes so others are not financially, physically and mentally harmed by his actions (or lack of). I doubt i will ever hear from him even after this review but he is ethically wrong and i may submit an official grievance with the Bar. Ill just have to do more research on that, but since i have been researching all these other legal i hired him to do, Im sure ill be able to navigate how to submit a grievance easily. read more

I had an accident about 4 yrs ago on my mother's birthday. I was rear ended by a lady who pretty much hit and ran from the scene of the crime. Hamed was recommended by a friend after my husband was t-boned at an intersection in February of 2015. The accident was completely the other drivers fault, yet our insurance wouldn't pay for the repairs of our vehicle, wanted to term it "salvaged", and only give us $4,000 to go buy something new. My husband's van is specially equipped for him since he is quadriplegic and we had "extra" insurance on it in case something like this ever happened. Great service from the beginning. Hamed took my call and asked to see me ASAP. He offered to have me picked up by a ride-share service so that I wouldn't have to deal with driving and traffic. After seeing him he immediately booked me with with various doctors to help resolve my issues. The chiropractor was great and I loved that it was at Burke Williams as I got to use the facilities before or after my therapy, which helped even more with recovery. The other doctor I had to see was awesome as well and very knowledgeable, professional and provided great service. Hamed works with beyond great doctors who provide great service. In the meantime while I was recovering my case was being handled and taken care of. When the pandemic hit his offices was down to about 13 assistants, clerks, etc from the usual 50-60, as many of the employees stayed home for about a year. With less personnel available to handle my case I was still able to stay in-contact with someone to follow up on my case. Though communication was not sufficient to my standards, I am happy to have been able to follow up by email and phone with someone in his office during the unusual circumstances of the pandemic.
