I've been going through crisis after crisis for a ridiculously long time - since way before the pandemic - and after about three years of chaos, mistakes, addiction, heartache, etc, I cracked and ended up in the psych ward of a hospital. It took something terrible to shine a light on how severely depressed and "stuck" I've been for a long time. I'm between CBT therapists. So when I found out Kate does these types of sessions- something less conventional, I felt like it was meant to be and enthusiastically booked with her. I sent her an embarrassingly long message explaining all of the current problems in my life - because I wasn't sure which one to focus on first... which negative thoughts, feelings, ideas need to be cleared before moving on to the next thing. She pin-pointed exactly what I thought she would, and I suppose what my intuition was telling me- that a ton of my issues, bad recent experiences and painful emotions come from an overall lack of self-love. So we worked on that. I've done EMDR sessions before, and a ton of acupuncture over the years- both have consistently led to cathartic emotional releases. I wasn't surprised that this had the same effect- I was crying within just a minute or so of us diving in to the tapping part. And as self-aware as I usually am, Kate pointed out some things during the session that I hadn't been tuned into about myself/my feelings. I was interested in past life regression and did a Google search for PLR therapists in New York. There were quite a few and I'm sure they're great, but something about Trish resonated with me. It took me a few days to make the decision to reach out to her because I needed to sit with what I wanted to do and with whom, and even if I wanted to do it at all (thank you ego!). She took time out of her busy schedule to meet with me via zoom. During our zoom call, she explained to me what PLR is and her training and the services she provided. She is not one of those people who is out to get your money as she did not push any of her services on to me. She recommended (and offers) a "group" session for about $20 so that you may get an idea of what she does. In the group session, she begins with a meditation and gets you into a mellow hypnotic state and guides you through a visualization. I never felt afraid, I was always safe during this time and I came out of it more relaxed and curious. After doing this, I booked a past life reading with her. You send her three photos of your face and eyes. She will do her thing and then send you a report of what she saw. Sidenote: Even though I am a believer in past lives, my ego (still) was telling me to be weary. Having said that, I waited a day after receiving it because I was worried about what it would say. When I received my reading, I immediately got chills. As I read it, it was like a familiar movie playing in my head. She told me about things I am currently working on, that I did in my past life. For example, she said I was a reiki healer many many years ago and I am currently working on becoming a reiki master. There is no way she could have known that! NO WAY! She told me about characteristics of my past life self that is spot on with how I am now. These were things only my father and my sister know.
