Bob W. - Plano, Texas The doctors (Cardiologists) here at…read moreBaylor in Plano, Texas are excellent....all 5 Star in my book. I do have a problem with the 7 story Parking Garage. The lighting in this 7 Story Parking Garage is very poor...so I reported it to the Baylor Police Force as well as to The City of Plano's Inspection Department. The City of Plano told me that the Hospital Garage Lighting is in violation of the City's "Lighting Codes"...and they have 30 days to ensure ALL lights are functioning. It's dangerous to walk through that garage & even drive through it. 4 months ago, I tripped over a concrete curb stop that IMO shouldn't have been there...luckily caught myself with both hands (as I have a Pacemaker & an Aortic Aneurysm I need to protect). Now, 4 months later both of my hands and my arms are still a bit sore. At age 76, falls can be very life threatening. I also informed OSHA that IMO, this 7 Story Parking Garage is not safe.... due to the poor lighting situation and the inappropriate placed "curb stops" in this garage. There must be thousands of patients who use this 7 Story Parking Garage every week....it MUST be safe for ALL patients an visitors! Also, IMO, both ER's are very understaffed and overwhelmed...3 to 5 hours to get in and out. Otherwise, I feel this Baylor Scott & White Hospital really is a 5 Star Hospital....I do highly recommend it to everyone! NOTE: I am in Plano, Texas...NOT San Francisco, California.

Let me start by saying that I have used doctors in this system for over 30 years. (I miss Dr…read more Hoss.) The doctors, nurses and medical staff working for Baylor are always great. However, BSW is now adding an extra $300 "Hospital Facility Fee" to every doctor visit, even when it is not in a hospital building, setting, or procedure. My last doctor visit to an internist, not at the hospital, was $300 to see the doctor, $150 for blood tests done in the office, and a $300 Hospital Fee. $750 for a single office visit. I have to find new providers for everything, because that's just obscene and they should be ashamed. Baylor is "nonprofit" in the same way the Epstein Class are "taxpayers". (Their CEO made 10 million dollars last year, and nobody on the board was paid less than a million. Jesus would be so proud.)

Children's Medical Center Plano 5 Stars…read more January 6, 2026 We brought our daughter here for testing and had a very positive experience. The staff were kind, patient, and professional from start to finish. They took the time to explain what would happen and helped our daughter feel comfortable throughout the process. The facility was clean and well organized, and check-in was smooth. As parents, we appreciated the communication and level of care provided. Overall, we are very grateful for the service and would absolutely recommend Children's Medical Center Plano for pediatric testing and care.

Because of the severity of his condition, he was admitted right away. We spent some time in an ER room before he was transferred to the PICU, and after one night there, we moved to the general floor for a few more days. Every single nurse and doctor we encountered was incredible. I genuinely felt that they cared about my child, and they were so comforting to me as a worried mama. We are truly so impressed by the level of care. Per my son's request, we want to give a very special shout-out to Nurse Graziella, she is so kind and loving! They made his stay as comforting as possible: therapy dog visits, an Xbox in the room, card games, coloring supplies, and other activities that helped keep his spirits high. As a mom, I appreciated the little things, too: including a nice coffee shop inside and surprisingly good cafeteria food. When it was finally time to go home, my son cried all the way to the car because he loved the hospital and the staff so much - that says everything!

So Dr Yan Li is the owner of this Omni medical clinic. There's a separate Yelp Review for dr Yan…read moreLi. First off, setting appointment is horrible. The person's English was not that great. then we communicated using text messages. I said want to see for my hair loss through text message. But they scheduled me for physical check up. I said no, I stated in the text I want to go due to my hair loss. The person obviously could not read my text messages. Then, they tried to charge me $240. I said my copay for PCP is $15. My insurance card actually said DO NOT Collect payment at appointment time. After looking at her computer, looking again, she finally let me not pay and said billing would send me an invoice. saw the nurse, she took one look at me and said we don't treat hair loss or menopause symptoms. She can refer me to dermatology or OB. that's it. 1 minute of her time. Who saw a doctor or nurse for 1 min? she gave me a piece of paper with derms names and phone numbers on it, presumably so they can collect referral fee from the derms. Then when I was inside treatment /consult room waiting for the nurse to come, the receptionist came to me and said "I was able to see, yes you are supposed to pay $15", she brought the payment machine with her. I paid. Whoa, I've never been to a doctor practice who would even chase me to the treatment room to ensure I pay. If they don't treat hair loss, why bother making me come to their office. The receptionist in the beginning, could just say we don't treat hair loss or menopause symptoms....don;t have to schedule an appointment with me. I wasted money and time coming here

My biggest complaint about them is that they really are only in the business for the money not to help their members. Case In point, I'm a diabetic and require insulin. Which is okay they have insulin in their formulary however I am allergic to that type of insulin and although there are brands I can take since th other major brand is not in UHC formulary I can't get it. Mind you I'm allergic to that type and my previous doctor told me that it could cause some serious health issue if I took their brand. I asked them what my options was and was told that I can take the medication I was allergic too, pay $400 for one box of they right insulin, or I can go without insulin. So, I'm going to the philippines next week and I will buy 15 or 20 boxes (for $20each )there while I attempt to reach the insurance department which has already told me they can only help if the company is doing something illegal or maybe I'll try to file a law suite. Employers do not abuse your staff using this isurance and dont use them as your medicare part D provider. They may kill you

I called several times for an entire week, and they seem to have no understanding of what customer service means. They ask the same questions repeatedly, request information that is already in their system, and transfer you to another customer care representative when they don't know what to say. I requested to speak to a supervisor and was kept on hold for an hour. If this were an emergency, it would have been disastrous. For reference, I am Felix Gonzalez, and I have been calling about chronic back pain for a week now with no proper attention from any UnitedHealthcare customer service as of 4/8/2024.
