I wouldn't eat food prepared here, much less let someone undertake a medical procedure. We took her out against medical advice and it was the best decision we made. Avoid if at all possible. There are much cleaner options.

Many, many hours wait only to have doctor tell me that I had passed out twice in a museum because it was crowded. When I left, there were about a dozen folks on gurneys in the open space between the waiting room and the doctor's examination room. Some looked very ill. No staff member in sight. Clearly, if you'd had a stroke or heart attack, you'd die waiting for care. The next day a doc came to our hotel and, by actually listening to what I was telling him, quickly determined that I had a severe sinus infection that required antibiotics. Still on the mend and totally regretting I lost a day in Paris and the $150 private ambulance fee (recommended and summoned by the firemen working at the museum). Grr. Lesson learned. Do Not Go To Saint Antoine ER!!!

I waited in the ER bay for another 4-hours before a nurse told me that she had been taken to the hospital for surgery. Whe? What room? Which doctor? No one could tell me. She did have two screws placed into her femur and returned to a room. On the orthopedic ward, not one could tell me anything: Name of the doctor? Nature of her surgery? When she might be released? Nothing. On the third day after surgery, a doctor, flounced into her room with his minions in tow. You can go whenever you like. I had her out of there on a plane to the U.S. the next day. Think of cutting off your leg before going to l'hôpital Saint Antoine.
