Overall good hotel. Extremely clean, guestrooms have hardwood floors, prices are reasonable (~$500 USD for a 3 night stay in March), there is a restaurant on site which serves breakfast lunch and dinner, a 24 hour bar, very fast service, and people at the front desk speak English (as well as a slew of other languages). There is a bus stop across the street which takes you 10 minutes to get to the United Nations. Hotel provides you with a free transportation card to use during your entire stay. Lake Geneva is a 10 minute walk away, as is the train station, which has a ton of shops around it. The direct vicinity is pretty dead with only two or three places to get a bite.
The food is decent. Breakfast is a bit overpriced at $16 USD (although it is all you can eat and the coffee is pretty good). Unless
you are absolutely starving and think you can eat three plates worth of food or 4 coffees, I suggest just grabbing a bite down the street or even picking up a fresh loaf of bread and a wheel of cheese plus some orange juice from the small grocery store across the street (for half the price).
Dinner was pretty good. The tomato soup is fantastic and the drinks are reasonably priced. Service is incredibly slow, but it's fine for a relaxed meal. read more
