Wifi worked very poorly, and room was in a poor state of repair - could not close bathroom door due to poor maintenance. Look elsewhere.

The pillows were so soft that they had 0 support. The restroom door was difficult to shut, and the bathtub/shower was difficult to use. Seriously the tub is a good 2 feet off the floor and very slippery. Getting in and out of the shower was a challenge. Also the hotel will randomly smell like sewage. It's in the halls and in the rooms. Super gross. The hotel also has no amenities. For the price I feel there should be an indoor pool and hot tub. But again, clean and friendly. The area is close by the metro and easy to get a taxi or Uber. Also a few decent places close by to eat and about 2-5km away from shopping and Eiffel Tower.

To make it worse, windows could not be opened. The bed soaked up and kept heat during the day so it felt like being baked while sleeping. To make it worse, on the night of Jun 24th, after finally falling asleep a false fire alarm broke out at 2am, guests had to evacuate. Then a second false fire alarm happened at around 7am. My colleague had it even worse than just needing to evacuate, because her door knob broke and was locked out of her room in the middle of the night. She was given a 2nd temporary room for the rest of the night without her belongings. Each night costed about $350, for fairly basic accommodation. For example there was no bottled water even. Three weeks now have passed, I have not been able to get invoices needed for reimbursement because their computer system was down at the time of checking out. They noted down my contact but nothing happened even with my multiple requests confirmed with a service ticket filed, still no invoice.

The staff are wonderful - they will help with more than what concierge staff will do in other hotels. Metro will take you to the Left Bank in 25 minutes so this was a good location in a quiet neighborhood to take advantage of downtown as well. Laundromat and grocery store close by, as well as many restaurants. Hotel restaurant staff are also amazingly accommodating. I am so impressed with how helpful the staff have been all around - I wanted for nothing in Paris because of them. Bonus - all of the staff speak English well and won't make you feel uncomfortable if you arrive too tired to attempt to parle en francais.

I've stayed at many hotels in Europe, but this was, without question, the most disturbing and…read moredisappointing experience I've ever had -- and it's made worse by the fact that management has completely ignored every attempt to resolve it. 1. Hygiene Disaster from the Start When I checked in, I found a pillow stained with blood and an empty body wash bottle in the shower. These are basic housekeeping tasks that should never be missed at any hotel, let alone one under the Radisson Blu name. (I have photos attached.) 2. Bugs in the Room -- and I Was Bitten During the Night Later, I discovered multiple bugs crawling in the room, and I woke up with several bites. This was absolutely unacceptable and frankly disgusting. (Photos and videos attached.) 3. Unsafe Bathroom Design The bathroom setup was dangerously bad -- the bathtub was extremely high and very slippery, and the mirror was placed in a position that made it almost unusable. I genuinely worried I'd slip every time I got in or out of the tub. 4. No Response from Management or Expedia I reported everything through the hotel's official feedback form -- no reply. I emailed their management team with detailed photos -- no reply. Even Expedia tried contacting them and told me the hotel refused to respond. This total lack of accountability is unacceptable for a hotel that charges premium rates and markets itself as "4-star." 5. The Worst Part -- Silence and Indifference Mistakes can happen, but silence and negligence are inexcusable. I gave the hotel 7+ days to respond privately before posting this publicly. Still nothing. So here it is -- a warning to anyone considering this property: Do not stay here. Between the unsanitary conditions, bugs, and zero response from management, this hotel fails at every level. If Radisson Blu or this property ever decides to respond properly and offer fair compensation, I'll update this review. Until then, I would strongly recommend choosing literally any other hotel in Paris.

After calling multiple times (international charges at that) and emailing several times over the course of a week, I finally got a response. My room is no longer available because they booked it out already after canceling me, but I'm welcome to book a much smaller room at roughly the same price. Gee, how generous. Wound up going with a much nicer two-bedroom place in a more central district (15th arr), but am warning other travelers to stay away from this hotel. I travel roughly 100 days a year and have never experienced anything like this. Can't say I'll be opting to stay at a Radisson Blu again in the future.

This has to be one of the worst, if not the worst hotel that I've stayed at in Paris. Thankfully,…read moremy fiance and I only had to stay there for one night but man was it a brutal one - no air conditioning and no fans at the desk, our room was pretty damn hot making sleeping difficult. To add more salt the wounds, the 'bathroom' is the size of an airplane restroom and is one of the old-school all-in-one deals where the toilet and the shower, alongside the sink have no separation whatsoever except for a meager curtain. The room was tiny and they didn't have twin beds, instead they had two single beds pushed together. Both beds kept separating from each another. Honestly this hotel is just plain awful. The rates aren't competitive at all, at 80 euros a night and it's not near the subway either (it's about 10-15 minutes walking from the closest stop). There's just a bus and that's about it. Oh and our rate didn't include breakfast either and there was barely any room for our bags. This is pretty much as close to a hostel as you can get and yet they charge hotel rates. No thanks.

THE WORST HOTEL IN WHICH I HAVE EVER STAYED…read more The lift (elevator) was the size of a phone booth. We were with a group and had to take turns using it to get our baggage to our rooms. The rooms on the web site ARE NOT from this hotel. The rooms are ridiculously small and look like they were last remodeled in the 1980's. The bathrooms are more like an airplane bathroom or one from a camper/RV. You cannot take a shower without soaking the entire room. There was 1 towel in one of our rooms for 3 individuals. There is NO air conditioning and NO fans. We were there during a heat wave and suffered. If you open the window to let in fresh air, the street noise makes it so you cannot sleep. If your choice is to stay here or sleep in your car - recline your seat and count the sheep.
