Other friends said she was also very rude to them as well. Plus her outfit was not appropriate for an evening wedding. Total Unprofessional I hope that the management and members help coach her so others don't experience her rudeness!!

The grounds are quite exceptional and often are updated regularly. The golf course looks amazing with amazing greens. If you golf, like myself, you'd wish you had your clubs to try out the course. The country club has a swimming pool, tennis courts, a restaurant, and other amenities and activities that many is synonymous to exclusive members of this club (and they don't just accept anyone). Friends and family can be a guest of any members at the club. That's always a plus. From I was told, the club restaurant menu changes somewhat regularly, but members can always count on getting one of the best steaks anywhere. The staff members are courteous, friendly, and very helpful. Definitely a cut above the standard. If you ever get a chance to visit The Little Rock Country Club, then do so. It's worth the experience at least once in your life. Enjoy!

Also the Heritage website is confusing so we went to the wrong place first. But the artwork was pretty and it is free to go through the museum so it wasn't a total loss. The…read moreinclusion of the word 'historic' in the museum name suggests that one would find a considerable number of artifacts representing the history of the state. Quite the contrary, what is found almost totally is a group of contemporary art works that have very little to do with the state and its history! Very importantly, the entire upper floor was closed during our visit (and has been closed for several months, according to other reviews). Just a few minutes spent in the display area was quite sufficient! Admittendly, there is an outdoor area with various buildings that can be toured for a fee, but this tour is of limited benefit and not of much interest on a summer afternoon. On a hot summer day, a museum provides respite from the heat and humidity, but there is very little in this museum to keep one's interest for long. Furthermore, the gift shop can be skipped, as it has almost nothing of value. Are there any professionals who work in this museum? It appears not! Is this museum ever evaluated by the leadership?? What a shame!! In reality, the real benefit of this museum is to provide a temperature-controlled place to wait for the free streetcar, which stops right across the street!!

This park is located near the MacArthur Museum of Arkansas Military History and is home to the…read moreArkansas Korean War Veterans Memorial. It spans 36 acres and is known as Little Rock's first public park and dates back to 1892. It was renamed after WWII hero, General Douglas MacArthur, in 1942. Given its historic significance you will find a number of historic markers and memorials on the park's grounds. The park seems like they periodically maintain it, but that some areas have been lacking lately. There were areas of the park's grass that were not mowed and trash was overflowing in parts by the pond. This park is home to a very nice playground that has some realitivley new equipment that includes a saucer swing, a huge jungle gym with slides, an interactive game station, some percussion instruments, and a small jungle gym with a sway fun glider and a slide. The area has the mud free rubber surface on the ground and there are blue awnings over some of the equipment to provide shade. Of course there are benches at the playground for caregivers to sit on. The benches have shade coverings as well. It is a very nice area as I mentioned. The park has a stocked fishing pond and there were tons of people fishing while I was there. And I saw many of them actually catching fish. You will see an amphitheater and a fishing pier along the pond. The park also features a nice paved trail to run, walk, bike or hike. You can also use it to take your fur baby for a walk. Just be aware that much of the trail is in the open and has no shade. Other park amenities include a gazebo, a shelter that is available to rent, Contemplation Gardens, a restroom facility, tons of green space and a bocce court. The green space is suitable for most field activities including soccer, football, playing catch, or tossing a frisbee. This is a very nice park that is located on the outskirts of Little Rock. You could easily spend a half of a day here or more. It could use a tad bit more maintenance though. What makes this park more special is its historical background. It is rich with history. I would classify this as a destination park and highly recommend checking this place out.

I listen to a lot of country, a lot of rap, and a Little Rock. So I fit right in here. (Jk, I'm not…read morebig into country or rap but it worked for the intro, did it not). Little Rock in brief summary, is an absolutely gorgeous City which will live forever in my heart, both because of the bittersweet distant memories, and some more recent ones with Starlight, and even moreso - the amazing concerts I've had here. My first memories of Little Rock were with the love of my life when we were traveling all over the country, driving through here on a sticky summers' day. The first thing we discovered here was the River Market. We've traversed Arkansas on a number of fateful occasions over the years and each one has left a real impression on me. Almost always in the heat of the summer, except when I did my tour here, in late Autumn. When it is at its most comfortable, really. My most recent experience was bringing Starlight through here in the heat of the summer - and she and son and mochi all enjoyed the Frozen Custard from Shake's, and we had a little look around the downtown. You can see her eating it in the attached pic. My best experience here was for a concert. We absolutely packed the River City Coffee Cafe with over 100 people and it was one of the most memorable concerts I ever had. So LR will always be special to me and it's a truly beautiful place. And no, while I may have Little Rock in my heart, I do not have Little Rocks anywhere on my body, despite what you may have heard from multiple sources.
