Fall mums and pumpkins and today I went for my Christmas tree and can tell you they are the best trees around. The selection is huge and they are putting as many as they can in pots of water to keep fresh! Nobody else I know does that. The trees are so nice, full and fresh. I imagine they won't last even though they have hundreds now. They're too nice to pass up. Remember always try to tip the staff when they trim the tree up, net it and put it on or in your car. I'm sure the staff depends on extra money for Christmas and I have zero relation or incentive to say please tip. Just a long time customer that appreciates small businesses and great service. It's hard to find these days.

I stopped in once at the beginning of the season when I decided I wanted my own little patio garden. I was on the hunt for a very specific size of coconut liner and finally found it here - already a big win. On top of the hanging basket liner, I found a few plants flowers to add to my already found haul and some veggie and herb plants as well. The space is massive, so come when you have some time to bop around and take it all in. The plants were all on the more expensive side, so I didn't go too crazy, but we are already a few months in and everything is thriving and growing very well. I stopped by on a very rainy Saturday at the start of the summer and even with the downpour, it was busy. The parking lot was a bit hectic, but I can't imagine what it looks like on a sunny day! Clearly a favorite for locals and I see why. When I do find myself in the area and in need of new plants (always) I'll make Barlow's one of my stops.

Follow the directions and even call customer service to make sure I was doing the right thing living in a Hot Dry Climate. It seems we had to refrigerate our bulbs for 14-16 weeks. Had to purchase a small refrigerator for this purchase. Time came to plant the bulbs and again followed directions from Longfield Gardens and not one dame bulb came up. Not one. I was so disappointed and so was my wife. I will never again order anything from this Company.
