    Left eyeball

I am furious about the experience I had at this place. We usually take our dogs to Mobi Dog, but they were fully booked until the end of June. Therefore, we decided to try this alternative groomer. Initially, things seemed promising. I loved that they didn't put the dogs to kennels and allowed them to interact with other dogs. Our appointment was scheduled at 12:00pm. They called around 4:30 to let us know that they were almost ready. We were starting to get concerned because it was taking a while, but we thought it was normal because it was Lola's first time at the groomers. We paid and tipped them and went home. Upon arriving home, we noticed that Lola's left eyeball was bloody. We rushed to the Animal Hospital, while simultaneously reaching out to the groomers for an explanation. Initially, they denied any knowledge of what might have happened. However, minutes later, the groomer who handled Lola's grooming called back and mentioned that Lola hit her head while she was blow-drying her, and she stated that they didn't notice anything unusual. I cannot imagine the force required to cause the blood vessels in Lola's eyeball to burst. The next day I noticed that her Right eyeball was also turning red. We immediately started medication on that eyeball as well. Today 05/23/2023 I noticed a waxy yellow discharge on her left ear. I immediately took her to the vet and told them what was going on and that I was concerned about her other eyeball, and they confirmed that both eyeballs were affected and that she must have hit her head very hard for that to happen. And that probably she also got an infection because of the clippers. How is possible that my dog gets hurt while under their care, and they don't even communicate that she hit her head, that we must keep an eye on her, apologize, do something, not just stay quiet and wait and see if we call or something happen. We have spent over 350 between the Animal hospital, medicine, and the visit to the vet. We were hoping that they would at least call again the next day and follow up, show that they care, but we didn't receive anything. We understand that accidents happen, but they failed us by not notifying us of the accident, they failed us by not showing interest in Lola's well-being. I only hope that nothing happens to my Lola, that she recovers soon and that there are no worse consequences. hey lost our business, and my only advice to them is to communicate to the client anything that happens while they have our babies under their care. It doesn't matter if it's something minor, we have a right to know when things like that happen so we can at least keep an eye on them in case something does happen as a consequence. Don't wait until you get a call from your customer on their way to the animal hospital wondering if something happened to then tell them "what happened was".

Hugo-Bear, feeling fabulous after his grooming.

The staff was friendly and helpful. My sweet old-timer "Hugo-Bear," has a seizure disorder and has been refused grooming because of it. I'm so glad we found "I Shih Tzu Knot," and they were wonderful with him. We're definitely going back!

    Perfect Groom!

She did an amazing job with my pup! I have a two year old shih-tzu that had a terrible experience with grooming as a puppy. We have maintained his hair at home since then. Today he had a wonderful, happy experience and came home with a beautiful hair cut! We will definitely be back for all of our grooming needs.

They don't lock your dogs up while waiting for grooming. My dog that gets nervous at other grooming places is happy going here
