I went to the Laurinburg office on March 11, 2026 to have them check a growth on my forehesd. They…read moredid a biopsy and I received a voicemail on March 13 from Shirley informing me that the biopsy indicated a basal cell cancer. I called the office several and left messages for Shirley. She finally called me that afternoon and told about the biopsy result. She said that I would need MOHS surgery and I would need to go to the Pinehurst office for the surgery. She said that they would contact me to schedule the surgery but she said that since they are closed on Fridays (March 13 is on Friday) they would not contact me that day. I waited almost three weeks for a phone call and I assumed that the MOHS surgeon was backed up with cases. I got a call from Shirley on March 31 asking if I received the voicemail about the biopsy results. I had to remind her that she called me on March 13 with the results. Since I had not heard from Pinehurst, she said she would send them my informatio. I don't know what happened, but it appears that she did not send my information to Pinehurst on March 13. I received my biopsy results 19 days ago and still don't have a surgery appointment. It appears that Carolina Skin Care has a communication problem. I think it's time to find another dermatologist.
