tl;dr Don't go here. They overcharge and steal from your car. I needed an oil change and inspection, and this shop was recommended to me. The inspection cost me something like $120, which I am now learning is ridiculously high, and the oil change was also more than it should have been ($20-$25 is reasonable). I figured I don't have to do this often, and if I can trust a mechanic, it's worth it. I picked up my car and all seemed fine until soon after when my car indicated that my tire pressure was low. This usually isn't an issue as I ride around with a compressor and tire gauge. That's when I noticed that not only was tire gauge gone (it was a nice metal one in a case in my center console) but my cheap prescription glasses were also gone (just plan weird). I'm not one to accuse people of stealing- I usually will blame myself and try to find a scenario where this could have happened another time or by my own fault, but nobody else had access to my car without me around during that time. read more

These guys are terrific they work on your car a save you money and you're very fast getting back your vehicle. I went in there thinking I needed a router for my brakes and turned out they just need to be cleaned and they took care of it for less than half I was expecting. This service is so good I'm really going to tell everyone to go there give them a try you will not be let down. They also know someone with a tow truck if your vehicle needs to be moved there. I have to say that this is probably the worst service station I have ever been to. Despite my doubts, I went to this gas station on someone else's reccomendation. It was a complete mistake. Noone there seems to really care about giving good customer service or good car service. I went there a couple of weeks ago to have a problem fixed. It supposedly was and also cost me a decent amount. That was fine- because I assumed it was fixed! Within a couple weeks, the problem returned. I brought it back to them and they said I needed a new part this time. They "fixed" it again but instead of apologizing that they didn't fix it properly the first time, they went and charged me more than the first time! (75% of this 2nd bill was labor) When I asked to speak to someone about it, the clerk had to call the owner on his cell phone since he had left for the day. He was rude and smug and not the least bit understanding . I asked why I was back 2x in a couple of weeks for the same issue and he basically bs'd me and said it happens. What he should have done is admitted that he clearly diagnosed the issue incorrectly the first time. As a compromise, I asked if he would at least give me a break on the labor since I had to return there for him to the fix the problem he was supposed to fix in the first place. Without hesitation, he said No. I have owned cars for years and dealt with mechanics for years. I honestly have never had such an unpleasant experience. I will most certainly never return here and will suggest the same to those I know. I also suggest that to anyone who is reading this follow suit. Started taking my cars here on a recommendation from a friend. Gentleman that works in the office is very nice and friendly. They aren't the cheapest, but the work is always completed on-time. Sometimes my car is even vacuumed for me. I don't like their oil change stickers, but hell - I'll live with them. They will work with you if you need to pick-up your car after hours. This place is great! Run by local guys, and has been family owned and operated for like 60 years or something. They're helpful, even if it doesn't put any money in their pockets. They picked my grandmother up in the rain one day so she didnt have to walk a few blocks to pick up her car, even found her a parking spot! I would reccommend them to anyone! read more

i dealt with Joe Iannello when I had my first car, and now my son uses him. I think he is probably the only honest mechanic left in the city. He always takes time and energy to help you, and if nothing is wrong, he doesn't make something up, he tells you the truth. I would trust my car, my sons car with him and his staff, Jimmy, etc. anytime. Always does quality work. worst service i have ever experienced if i could rate them 0 stars i would. i had bought my 2007 Saturn vue to get fixed they told me it needed a new compressor and that it will be fixed in 1-2 days then i had to call 2 days later to see what was going on and they had told me that no one makes Saturn's anymore and that he could not find the part for a 2007 Saturn vue but i never got a call regarding that i had to call myself. they told me they got it started to come pick it up i went there he car did not start they had to jump it again and half way down the block the car stopped. the mechanic was very rude and disrespectful and had no manners what's so ever. flat out told me he could not fix my car but is supposed to be a mechanic. will never go there again for anything plus the mechanic hit on my mother in front of my father how disrespectful read more

Went in for service, tried to schedule an appointment so I can have my vehicle at a certain time, was greeted by one of the Iannello brother, after 5 minutes of not having an answer, he told me I can pick up my vehicle by noon. After I returned to pick up my car the service was half complete. The second brother was there to greet me this time. After arguing with him and his mechanic, he told me to leave, I don't want to finish the car. Bad business and very disappointed. Will not step foot in that place again. I will never step foot near this gas station again. I paid for my gas with a 20 dollar bill . went pumped the gas. I decided to play lottery after I was done pumping gas. went in, played lottery, came to 20 bucks. paid with singles. I got a very dirty look from the employee behind counter like I did something wrong. employee mumbled something ,etc........ there is no need for this !! singles are currency are they not ? I am an ex Philadelphian. My husband was just released from HUP, needless to say we had a though few days. Upon leaving Philly heading for home at the Jersey shore, our car developed a coolant problem and we were stranded in south Philly. We franticly looked car for a service station and we're lucky enough to find Iannello Bros. These guys are the best. When they heard we were stuck and far from home they couldn't have been more helpful. The gentleman at the counter had us pull around back, and Anthony came to look at our car . His warmth and sense of humor somehow made us all feel better, and he fixed us up well enough to get us home, but the real fix was to our spirits. We were so touched by their sincere warmth and caring nature, not to mention thier mechanical expertise.
