There is a world class spa (largest in Europe in a hotel). There is a nice and generous self-serve happy hour between 5-6pm with free wines and German lager. The rooms were clean and well equipped except the Chromecast function on the TVs didn't work for us limiting us to just a small handful of English-speaking channels (mostly news stations like CNN). Not a big deal since we weren't traveling to watch TV, but it would have been nice to be able to unwind to a movie on Netflix instead of having to face the real world via listening to the news. We were able to sleep well in the beds and the curtains blocked most of the light nicely so we didn't wake up at 5am every morning. There was a decent restaurant but avoid the pricier "dry aged" steaks if you are used to fine American steakhouses. The dry aged steak lacked flavor and could be more tender but was cooked to the right temp. There's a nice coffee shop attached with friendly service, good coffee, and even alcoholic beverages to enjoy in the afternoon or evenings. There's a rooftop bar on the top floor although we struggled a bit figuring out how to get to it. We tried to go to the top from the 5th floor, but it doesn't work that way. You need to go to the first floor then the far-right elevator only can take you up to where the rooftop bar is. This bar is nice with a great view, but a bit pricey so we only sprung for two rounds. We spent most of our time outside of our room in the central hotel bar near the lobby. The bar manager and staff were super friendly and took great care of us during our stay. We'd definitely be back - but wish the hotel was a little closer to the downtown area of Munich.

What a gloriously comfortable room! This was the best night of sleep I've had on a business trip in…read morea very long time. The bed is very large and very comfortable. The ceiling is high giving the room a luxurious feel. Well designed, the TV is smartly placed along the panel of windows, easy to watch from any area within the room. The small table with chair and ottoman, had a complimentary bottle of water and two clean glasses. My room had a long desk with a chair and the only phone in the room. There was a tall white cabinet alongside the desk, with an electric hot water kettle, nespresso machine, two small ceramic mugs, and tea and nespresso pods. There was an ample sized fridge at the bottom of the cabinet which fit all of my essentials. (I often pack some food with me and I had leftovers from a restaurant outing.) My second morning, I called the front desk and discovered that extra nespresso pods are complimentary. I had an odd numbered room, which faced the autobahn. I liked this view but after an international flight, some daytime sleep was necessary and I immediately tested the blinds and curtains. It took me a minute to find the controls, located just under the thermostat. The push buttons dropped the blinds either up or down and shut them, letting very little light in. You can simply pull the large curtains shut, but I found the binds to be sufficient. My second favorite part about this room, after the bed, is the shower. The water pressure is excellent and the touch buttons for every feature were easy to operate. The complimentary toiletries have a light, refreshing fragrance (not too masculine like many hotels) and the lotion is buttery and smooth, not oily. I'm looking forward to my next stay here!

Such a luxury, plus I often have it all to myself. I enjoy the plush hotel robes and slippers. I start off in the wet sauna- not sure what scent is pumped in here- but it's very soothing Then after a quick shower, I head over to the dry sauna. There are also several sitting areas as well where you can relax. I especially enjoy the swings and the lounge chairs. I will often take a book and a beverage down with me to enjoy. I also always ask for a room with a soaker tub- so relaxing to take a nice long soak. I always travel with my bath salts from DM- so I'm always ready for a nice bath. This hotel by far is one of my favorite tubs. Nice and long to be able to stretch out in. These rooms are very comfortable. The only thing I'm not crazy about here is the restaurant. The food is bland and boring. There are so many great options nearby, as well as a quick trip downtown- so don't bother eating in the hotel. This visit my fridge wasn't working when I put my essentials in it. I notified the front desk on my way out to meet friends, and the hotel had maintenance come and repair it immediately. I really appreciated their quick response time.

Sadly, we had a horrible service attitude experience at the bar - an experience that cost the hotel a very high amount in business, hence only good and not very good. The hotel is not close to anything touristy. Probably the closest is the BMW Museum, which is about a 7 minute drive. There is a cute Biergarten across the street and some restaurants scattered around. Nothing super traditional though. Outdoor seating to enjoy in the morning while you're waiting for work. The hotel staff was relatively ok during my stay. The weather was very hot while I was in town for work and the rooms did not have AC. I'm convinced about this because not only did I sweat like a pig all night, but my other co worker also had some serious issues. He was smart and moved rooms at least. Ordered room service twice and the food was alright. The pizza was ok. Not a lot of flavor. The Rilano burger was a bit over cooked, but the flavors from the sauce were pretty decent. I also had breakfast 2 mornings and they had a good variety there. Lots of beverages, continental style breakfast, but some traditional German items. The rooms were nothing special. Two twins pushed together = a full bed. Nothing out of the ordinary for the EU. I wish I had taken a picture of the TV because it was teeeeeny. Ended up just watching stuff on my iPad since I felt the screen was probably bigger ( slight exaggeration). Overall, ok stay. Again, wouldn't stay here for vacation. But the convenience is great if you are working from the Amazon.DE offices.
