I have to applaud the staff of this place for putting up with the crazy clientele they must encounter, as a 24 hour garage, with everyone from steamers to stoners pestering them for munchies in the early hours of the morning. By day, it's a pretty decent little service station, serving fuel and fags, milk and magazines, as well as a whole range of overpriced groceries. There's also a Wild Bean Cafe in here, serving surprisingly good coffee as well as a tasty selection of muffins and pastries to refuel your belly whilst you refuel your motor.

Strolling past here in the stifling heat a few weeks past, arriving at a fully air-conditioned Marks and Sparks in a petrol station was truly a moment to savour. It was wonderfully freezing inside, and despite it's small size they seem to cram in everything you could want. My current favourite find is a meditteranean rice and chorizo snack tub thingy, that's on a 2 for £3 offer just now and tastes far more exciting than it sounds. It is in a petrol station, so expect a fiery, horrifying end if someone drops a fag outside, but for me it all just adds to the excitement of a Marks and Spencer's shopping trip.

You also can top up your mobile phone and pay cash/credit card Also it does not have customer toilets! Even this filling station do not have a Car Wash! But they do gives you free water for the windscreen, and air as well. This filling station tends to get busy during the peak time, and the entrance and the exit to the road are good, and easy to get in and out of this station.

We filed up here having got a money off each litre of fuel due to shoping in the supermarket and it made a wee bit of a difference. The cars can manoever round the forecourt easily and the staff member was very friendly serving us. We got a newspaper and a few bottles of juice they had quite a lot of bits and pieces for your everyday needs. The petrol station is ideally situated for the tourists driving alongside the clyde as it would not take you too far off your planned route and it is easy to find you can not miss it!

But…read morefrom my experience of this particular one, I have a few things I really think are worth knowing for any driver around the Glasgow area; This is one of the few BP stations that has a Marks And Spencer's Simply Food as it's add on grocery shop, which is so refreshing from the usual choice of huge bottles of coke and 3 for 2 Kit-Kat chunkys that you find elsewere I can't even begin to express it. It's also very well equipped for it's prime location, with about 10 tills, all manned and quick moving. It's also got a real coffee point and croissants and stuff, but honestly, I'd keep away from that area. It also has a car wash, which any childish adult knows, is the single most exciting thing you can do whilst sitting motionless in your car. But again, avoid it - it scratched the roof of my car, and did a truely crap job on the wheels. But, for what it is, I'd say it was up there among the best service stations I've been to. Which says a lot for the genre, seeing as it still only gets 2 stars.

The car wash is a little hard to get to if you enter from Eaglesham Rd, so best going in via the Ayr Road entrance. You also need to pay inside for the wash, so make sure you do that before you get in the queue. For a basic wash it was a crazy-bargain price of £3 and did the job - my car came out nice and shiney. It's more expensive if you want a blow-dry but I figured mine could just air dry. It's also a petrol station, and inside they sell all the things you'd expect of such an establishment. It does the job, but I still prefer the BP garage down the road.
