We got to enjoy the Ice Cream Cottage TWICE while we were in town last time! I tried a Better Brownie Batter shake Thai time which was good, but the brownie bites all just sank to the bottom and I was hoping they would have been blended in a little bit more. I may actually try a malt next time with a flavor that doesn't have so many mix-ins. My significant other got a sundae the first visit loaded it with his favorite toppings. On our second visit I got a two scoop bowl and he ordered a two scoop waffle cone. All of the flavors were great and the service was quick. They always seem to have a line out the door so it's good that they keep it moving! read more

Yum! This is a cute little shop. If you are stopping by Bridgewater Plaza, this is a great place to come. I love walking around the shops. Parking is challenging on the weekend. You can sample the flavors if you can't decide. The banana pudding is yummy. The Cotton candy flavor is good. The peanut caramel had a strong peanut butter flavor, but that was probably the idea. While staying at Smith mt. Lake we decided to go to this shopping center were you can dock your boat and everything. As soon as my family saw the ice cream cottage we couldn't resist to get ice cream. I have milk sensitivity so I was like oh great guess it's so hot and I can't get ice cream! But they have Italian ice which is delicious by the way you should definitely try it. They also have snow cone type things so if ice cream isn't a option for you there is other things so you can cool down after a hot day. The prices were reasonable and they had a rarity of sizes and flavors. My family liked it so much that we came back later that day after lots of shopping to get more ice cream. If u are ever in smith mt. Lake make sure to stop here! read more

I go to this Ice Cream place at least twice in the season when I'm in town, and I've never been disappointed. The Hershey's ice cream is the best, and I love the variety though I usually stick with either a coffee or chocolate flavor - even like to mix them, too. It's too bad Blaise got what he thought was small, but I agree with the other visitor that $5 certainly doesn't seem like an unreasonable price. Also, it is a local home-town establishment, and the manager knows everyone's name who has been coming every year. She's pleasant and friendly. Just an enjoyable treat. read more

My wife's family has been coming here for 20 years. I wasn't going to get anything until I saw they had soft serve. I asked for a large bowl of it. The girl barely filled it up, then gave me an already partially melted bowl of ice cream. Whatever. Then we paid. $4.80. are you serious? Okay never buying that again. Wasn't going to complain. This isn't why I 1 starred this place. It was the way the staff treated us. 2 minutes later the rest of the family is eating, and we see my brother-in-law eating his. It was bigger than mine, and it was a small. Still soft serve. Okay I guess I should talk to the manager even though ours is basically done. She denied what I said. She told me they always weigh it before giving it to you and it would have been 8 oz. I told her no one weighed it, and to be fair there's no way this was 8 oz (I do weigh your own froyo a lot). All I expected was an, "oh, I'll talk to the girl who served you about it," and either knocking the charge down to a medium or getting a little more ice cream. The manager said the girl definitely weighed it. The manager wasn't in the room when the ice cream wasn't weighed. I wasn't trying to pull a fast one on her, stealing ounces and ounces of ice cream; but she treated me like a scam artist. Really crummy experience. read more
