There's a sign that states where the line starts with poles guiding people as to where they should be falling in line. Like numerous others, I didn't see the sign. People started falling in line by the window, which is where I was sitting. I eventually moved my seat. Now, I totally understand what the hype is all about. They offer fruits, sauces, and crunch options that other frozen yogurt companies do not offer. While I was falling in line, someone was writing down what I wanted to order. I was impressed that she upsold me. I was asked which option I wanted. I opted for a cup or tub. Then she asked if I wanted a medium or a large. She didn't ask if I wanted a small, medium, or large. I'm thankful I ordered a medium! The couple behind me had a slight misunderstanding because the female ordered small for them to share. He didn't sound happy with her choice. Eventually, she changed the order to a larger size. I knew that I wanted mango. I am thankful that the employee suggested the Biscoff crunch and sauce. Oh my gosh, I slowly ate my yogurt. I wanted to enjoy every crunch with the sauce and yogurt. They gave a generous amount of everything. I would highly recommend llaollao!

Dear Sir/Madam, Good…read moreday. I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding an incident at your Miguelitos Ice Cream at SM City San Lazaro Branch yesterday May 29, 2026. My child is a registered Person with Disability and holds a valid PWD ID. When I (mother) presented the PWD ID to avail of the discount/benefits for food purchases, your staff refused to honor it. They insisted that the child must be physically present and that the guardian's ID was not sufficient. This policy contradicts *Republic Act No. 10754, "An Act Expanding the Benefits and Privileges of Persons with Disability"*, as implemented by *DOH Administrative Order No. 2017-0008*. Section IV, Rule V of the IRR states: In cases wherein the PWD is a minor or mentally or physically incapacitated to execute an authorization letter, the parent or legal guardian or representative shall be allowed to make the purchase on behalf of the PWD, upon proof of their valid identification card. The name of the said guardian/representative shall be indicated at the back of the PWD ID and shall be the exclusive representative of the PWD. My child's PWD ID lists me at the back as the authorized representative, and I presented my valid ID for verification. Despite this, the discount was denied. I believe this is a misunderstanding of the law by your staff. I am bringing this to your attention so you can review and retrain your personnel to ensure compliance with PWD laws. Persons with disabilities, especially minors, should not be subjected to additional burden just to access their legal benefits. I respectfully request: 1. Clarification/apology regarding the incident 2. Confirmation that your staff will be briefed on the correct implementation of PWD benefits for minors/representatives 3. Assurance that this will not happen again I value Miguelito's products and would prefer to resolve this amicably. I hope for your prompt response within 5 business days. If unresolved, I will also raise this to DTI. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Manila Creamery is something to watch out for. As of now, they don't have a physical store yet as they have only recently launched last April 2015 at EDSA BDG, however you will find their humble stall in bazaars and event functions for the time being. It's a start up business by two young individuals but don't be fooled for they deliver you nothing but quality! They have the staple flavor selections but have also created their own unique trademark flavors. When you are able to catch them on bazaars, I suggest you try the cereal milk flavor! It's one of their own unique creations. This one is very promising! I must say, Manila Creamery is almost at par with my own personal favorite gelato brand!

They only use fresh ingredients of high quality to make delicious and unique flavors for everyone to enjoy. I came across their pop-up store in Glorietta 4 and tasted all the flavors available. These flavors were Vanilla Almond, Coffee, Kinder Bueno, Pistachio, Double Chocolate, Black Sesame and my personal favorite that day, Mangga't Suman. Its main ingredients were Mango and a famous Filipino delicacy called Suman which is a rice-based dessert. Everything tasted good, that's for sure! Their gelato was carefully made and tested. I could really tell because of how it was rich and flavorful. I think if I did a blind taste test, I'd know more or less what the main ingredients were! I'm not much of a dessert kind of person but Manila Creamery's gelato has made its mark on my taste buds. I can't wait till their next pop up! Baskin Robbins - Peanut Butter n' Chocolate

If asked to pick between Baskin Robbins and Coldstone Creamery, I'd have to say it would all depend…read moreon how you like your ice cream. If you like ice cream with a better mouthfeel and smooth, sweet, creamy goodness, go for Coldstone. If you prefer ice cream that's a little more on the heavier side with chunks and swirls, go for Baskin. So I suppose it's like asking how you like your peanut butter: smooth or chunky. BR is definitely the chunky peanut butter of the ice cream scoopery market. Is this a bad thing? No, not really. Again, it all depends on how you like your ice cream. Even the flavors that didn't have chunks in them (cotton candy, chocolate...) had a certain denseness to them. A good denseness. It kept the flavor rich and lingering in your mouth even after you swallow it down. And their flavors are great, too. Normally, I know exactly what I want within a couple of samples. I have to admit, I waffled between their Movie Theater Popcorn (Sweet and buttery -- like Kettle Corn... except colder), Praline and Cream, Caramel Praline Cheesecake and Caramel Truffle Turtle. (Seeing a pattern here yet?). Pity they didn't have the Cherries Jubillee. I would've had a harder time trying to decide. In the end, I went with the cheesecake. The cheesecake was mostly in the ice cream but man, whole pecans. That's something you don't regularly see. So the price is midrange, around the 150php price range with is usually expected for imported ice cream. They let you have as many samples as you want. There's even a "create your own sundae" thing. But there's a certain chaos to it when the crowds come in. You have people with huge parties who can't make up their minds and need to try every single flavor twice thus crowding up the counter... and people with kids. So, I'd recommend waiting for crowds to disperse before approaching. Thankfully that happens quickly. Staff works quick and knows how to multitask at least.

Not long after, this branch also closed down. I was heart broken. More than 15 years after closing, Baskin Robbins is at it again trying its luck in the Philippine market. And no one is more excited than I am. While this ice cream joint is popular for their wide array of ice cream flavors, I only get one flavor when I order which is their Jamocha flavor. Creamy, coffee-like and with so many nuts! Makes me a happy kid every time. Thanks for bringing back my childhood memories Baskin Robbins!

It has been my memory of Shakey's. I visited their EDSA-caloocan branch. It was one of the busiest branch, even at 9pm, it was full. I was assisted and seated in the bar. Most of the time, I would order their 2-pc. chicken with rice, but sadly, they reformulated their menu. So I got the bunch of lunch instead. It includes a soup, salad, pizza, pasta, mojos, and chicken. The salad was plated clumsily. It was just literally dumped in my plate. I know it was a busy day, but atleast plate it nicely. It's not a rabbit who's going to eat the few leaves of romaine. to dump it like that. The soup was cream of corn and chicken. It tasted like it but some od the roux mixture wasn't melted properly that created lump.s Chicken was still as good as before, although dry, I still love the seasoning and pairing it with ketchup. The pizza was a fail. The crust was bland, so I left the edges on my plate. The servers was quick and attentive, but I didn't feel the Shakey's hospitality from their other branches. THat they would introduce themselves, that they would be our order taker, etc. etc. And asking us how was the food and the whole experience. I'm not sure if they don't do it anymore or its just late already. But that's one thing that make Shakeys standsout, more then the chicken and mojoes. #TheFoodCrawlers #OngsFoodprints #SplatMNL

The food and environment is typical Shakey's: pizzas, pastas, mojos, fried chicken, among other popular choices which are delicious and satisfies appetites of all ages. Comfortable seats, wide spaces, and family-oriented decorations and motifs create a relaxing atmosphere fit for such occasions. The service of the staff from this branch is better than most Shakey's branches, which has a tendency to serve the bills or orders relatively slowly compared to other restaurants. The waiters, cashiers, and all other staff members are very cordial and polite, and they always smile. At one point, one of my companions left behind a gift I got from Istanbul and the Shakey's staff managed to save it and returned it when I picked it up a few minutes later. I commend Shakey's MCU as one of the best Shakey's branches I have ever visited.
