She put in design elements that would be covered up by the moulding without telling us that we were basically paying extra for something that would not be seen. While her technical skills and quality are good I found the owner to be rude, abrupt and condescending. When there was confusion re what measurement we were providing (the space or the size of the needed piece) she refused to accept even one cent of responsibility or make any reasonable accommodation to make the situation work. As a result we paid hundreds of dollars for something that could not be used.

Full-disclosure: I have not yet bought anything from this shop…read more However, I am writing this review as I have been in this shop a couple of times now...the most recent time was yesterday...and I have been overwhelmed with the beautiful pieces of stained glass that are on display. I've had conversations with Jane who is the owner and primary artisan and have been struck by how down to earth she is, how knowledgeable and how willing she is to work on any custom idea you might have. I visited the shop with a friend yesterday. She will be commissioning a custom piece to give as a gift for a friend's wedding. Jane is thoughtful and creative and has some many unique ideas of what you can do with stained glass...windows, doors, hang alone pieces, etc. I am a collector of vintage items and Jane has some pieces in her shop where she combined not only vintage glass but also other items to create things that would be personalized and meaningful. Bring your thoughts and ideas to Jane and I am sure she can help you create a one of a kind piece that you will adore. This shop is adjacent to Local Pottery.....is another gem of a shop (which I previously reviewed) and together they are a huge reason to get yourself to Norwell Massachusetts! We wanted to get a new one sent asap so they had me purchase another one and said when the new one arrives to put the damaged one in that box and return to them. Once returned they would issue me the credit on my card. Weeks went by. I reached out and sent copy of Federal Express receipt of shipping return. It is now almost December and still no refund. You call their number and get an automated voice that doesn't allow you to speak to anyone and simply disconnects you. I emailed them again today but my guess is I will hear nothing. After this I am going to my local tv station who has a program that exposes horrible companies such as this, then to my state Attorney General to file a complaint afterwards to the BBB to file a complaint. I will not stand for being taken advantage of. HEED WARNING....DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH A COMPANY.
