They also had some nice scarves in the style of the Tlingit people that I though were beautiful and if I were more of a scarf person I would have gotten one or two. They also had pot holders in the same motif that I almost got. There were many more non tourist gifts to be had in the store. Including jewelry. I believe the jewelry had been locally made, but they weren't touristy styles, just nice jewelry. They had your standard pet with funny saying towels and other nick knacks. Upstairs was a clothing store. They had clothing and shoes that had just nice clothing for everyday wear, nothing touristy. They even had some nice novelty socks for kids.

We had a very knowledgeable tour guide. The only part we were disappointed in is when it started to rain we went in to the café and wanted some chowder. One Star for cafe. They call it smoked salmon chowder a small cup was $13. It was filled with potatoes and vegetables and a small chunk of salmon. When I say small, it was a flake. I would not order it again.

They sell lottery tickets, have a drug store and a dollar store and a pet store on the premises. The drug store is your standard drug store, nothing special, but if you are needing a drug store then you've come to the right place. They have a pharmacy so you could get refills if you needed and plenty of over the counter drugs. I hear there was a lot of people feeling sick on the cruse ship at the end of the cruise so this would have been the perfect place to get all those cold and flu meds. The pet store was your standard pet store. Full of all your pet needs including some really nice looking beds that we could see from the outside. The lottery kisok was down the hall and the sweet lady there gave us directions to the bathroom. I felt bad for her as she must be answering that question all day long. There is no door to Walmart from the shopping center.
