OMG, where do i begin... I moved to TX from CO and had no contacts here. I found Karen after much on-line research (so i know how important real reviews are). I thought that my needs were pretty specific...help with some interior remodeling and new furniture. First the Remodel - Karen's relationships with contractors and vendors is amazing. I loved every single person she put me in contact with. She was quick to tell me where it might be to my financial advantage to work directly with a vendor, and where i might make best use of her involvement. Now for the Interior Design - Holy Cow. Her process is unique, and my needs fell smack in the middle of the COVID situation. I had to put my full faith and trust in her process, which was a bit scary... but I will tell you that hands-down, it was the best, most stress free and effective interior design process i've ever had (and i've done a few houses prior to this one). I absolutely love the results of her efforts...the furniture, the design plan, the decor, everything! And even more than that, i loved the way she took the time to understand me and how she worked with me. Her team is amazing. I couldn't be more pleased. So, my advise is to trust her process...she has a great eye, she is truly able to understand her clients taste and desires, and she knows the products. Not one thing she suggested was wrong. Karen and Erin were fantastic from beginning to end, and the results were amazing! I used them for everything, from concept/design to picking fixtures/colors/designs to working with/managing the contractor. They made the process quite simple and personable. I was looking for a decorator to help remodel my kitchen, guest bathroom, and do a general update of the house (light fixtures, ceiling fans, painting). There was a dizzying number of people to choose from, but I ended up going with ICE because I felt (1) they could do the spectrum of design choices - high end where needed/desired and routine where needed/desired, (2) they had a great portfolio of work and would treat my project with the same perspective and eye, no matter how small or large, or how routine compared to their other projects. They indeed matched my expectations and then more! They suggested some things I would not have come up with on my own and it all ended up looking fantastic. The only down side is that they did such a great job I'm going to need them again for my master bath later on! read more

Karen is a multi-talented designer and will go out of her way to make sure you are happy with your project...she designed a built-in desk with cabinetry as well as a custom craft/homework table. She presented us with decor options, weighed in with her expert opinion when needed, and made the fabric selections for furniture/drapery a breeze by bringing all of the samples to our home.
