Really, it is a typical inner suburban park with a basket ball hoop, slippery dip and a bit of grass space for tge pick up soccer game. It's also right near the Christie Downs Train Station so is an easy way to kill a little time if you have to wait for a train or to let the kids have a run around when you get off one It has a huge grassed area where you can play pretty much anything. There's a couple of gazebo area's and plenty of trees around the outer of the park for shade. There is an area where kids can play soccer or hockey with a goal there. Behind it there is an area for skateboards with a quite small and basic skateboarding "run" with some drops and slide spots. The playground equipment is not a lot but it is newer stuff and is a little different to most playgrounds. There is still a slide, there's a merry go round type thing and some balancing type equipment and a massive climbing structure that looks like a huge spider web. Kids seem to be able to climb over it for hours. So a good mix of activities for older and younger children at this one. Plus dogs are allowed AND they even have a doggy bag stand so people can keep it clean. There's plenty of parking nearby as well.

Its free! and the best things in life really are. 2. It's enclosed! with metal bar fencing that doesn't resemble a prison and yet still has the same effect. niiice. 3. There is an old steam engine which is the feature of the play equipment. I sure there's some sort of history lesson in that...yay! the park is educational as well!! 4. There is a bathroom with a change table and its clean enough that you can use it before you get absolutely desperate! 5. There are park benches available within the fencing and outside too, so if you have older kids with you too they can run around on the grassy area. 6. I was a kid once, and my folks used to take me to this play ground and I thought it was awesome. 7. There are BBQ facilities, so you can have a gathering there and keep the kids occupied while everyone else does adult things, like drinking beer! only kidding guys, this is a dry zone and that would be slightly irresponsible. 8. There's car parking so if you do have a picnic you don't have the lug the basket halfway to Antarctica. 5 gold stars for a free family day of fun.

It's an ideal place to take the kids if you're out shopping in Stirling because there's enough equipment and hills to occupy the small ones while you socialise or relax on the benches. You see family gatherings and events in the rotunda or at the bbq and benches of this park all the time. Parking's good and immediate as the park shares with the community theatre across the way, there's a drink fountain and public toilet on the same premises. I was particularly fond of climbing up on the steam roller and playing driver when I was a lad, but the rest of the play equipment is great too. Lots of variation and challenges for kids to tackle.

Located behind the old Harts Mill, This playgrounds is full of mill related items/words. In essence - it's pretty damned cool. There is a sand pit area that resembles a flour packing station where you can move the sand around the play area using pulleys etc. A nice big flying fox, big climbing frame and running blocks are good additions. The number one sought after piece of equipment was the hamster wheel which the kids loved! Nice big slide you don't see these days and a baby swing that it's almost impossible to turn upside down so I felt very safe pushing the little one around. We had a ball and will be back again soon! Definitely recommend you take your kids here.

It used to be great but now, since the upgrade, it's freaking amazing! The wooden playground is still there in all it's fantastical glory, but wait, there's MORE! Now there's plenty of BBQ's and sheltered table/chair areas. There's new play equipment for the younger children, all sorts of interactive musical equipment and a bigger car park. I was there a couple of months ago and the toilets are a little walk away but with the new work that's been happening there, they might be moved closer. Get in early if you want a BBQ. There's usually plenty to go around but if you are having a birthday party there, you'll want to stay the whole day. There's a mix of rubber flooring and bark chip depending on the equipment. LOTS OF FUN!

While St Kilda rules the north, Jubilee must be the best looking and most fun playground in the southern part of Adelaide. This is one playground that all kids will find an instant liking to. I meant, look at that!! A wooden castle! It must be entralling to see something this big and be able to play in it. There's area catered for all ages. A smaller slide and and tunnel meant for toddlers, the main castle for the older kids. Heck, even I was running around with the kids up and down the castle earlier this afternoon. There are also many seats and benches for the parents, a couple of them with shelter. The castle playground itself is enclosed with wooden fences, so there's little fear that your young ones will 'escape'. lol. Great place to bring your kids around every once in a while. Noarlunga shopping centre is only nearby, you can always rock up to the playground early in the morning and then spend the afternoon in the shopping centre. Good way to spend a day. :)
