They layout is good and there are lots of offers on products. There is a cafe in there now where you can sit and have a snack and a coffee. There is a tesco direct there, too, which is a bit like Argos. They sell books, household equipment, toys and a very small selection of clothes too. There is always somewhere to park and you don't have to pay a pound for your trolley!

They also offered their help with the shopping, going to get items from their storage and offered free coffee from Nero Cafe. They deserve as much recognition as the NHS staff, helping the public even though people have become rude to them at times and the work has become extremely intense and unsafe. There was a leak in the ceiling recently and it was left dripping into buckets in an aisle for days! The staff regularly talk to each other when they are meant to be serving you at the tills and seem disinterested. It has a handy kiosk near the entrance if you want to pop in to get a newspaper or lottery ticket but that really is the only good feature about this place. Fruit and veg is cheaper than anywhere else in the area but sometimes looks a little worse for wear. We also managed to purchase a bottled salad dressing that was a month out of date too! Luckily we noticed and took it back before we had eaten any. Our money was refunded. There is parking behind the store, but beware the chavs who use this as a social area!

Have been coming here since I was a child when I thought it was the biggest store I have ever seen! Now it seems tiny in comparison. They are however, always well stocked and every time I have been are never busy so it's great when you need a few things and can't face the queues of the giant store. Less of a selection of things such as homewares, but if it's basic groceries you want they have everything really, even the more random things usually reserved for larger stores. The only qualm I have is the car park is not next to the store but off down the road, and the footpath can't accommodate 2 trolleys, so can be a bit of a mare passing! Still, not really Tescos fault there. Handy, has self serve checkouts and is always quiet.

This store however is pretty good, and usually quite quiet. It has a huge multi story car park behind it as well as a street level car park which is free to patrons so its always easy to park there which is a blessing when supermarket shopping! Seeing as its not all that big they have a great section for clothes shoes and accessories, an instore pharmacy and bakery, and a good selection of products. The store is always clean and tidy and the staff are really friendly.

The staff are all lovely and friendly and will chat away the time of day with anyone. The store isn't set out as well as it could be. I think it is a smaller space than other Iceland stores so they have packed the same amount in to a smaller space. There isn't much room down the aisles and if 1 person with a trolley is taking their time to browse then you have no hope of getting down there. The checkouts are also awkwardly laid out making it hard to find room to queue and I always have a job getting my shopping out of the trolley onto the belt. The delivery service is really efficient. They pack your shopping for you into different bags for frozen, fridge and cupboard items. The guy takes all your bags and puts them in 1 box and puts your receipt with it. Delivery is always on time within the timeslot and the drivers are really pleasant and friendly and helpful.

Yes the product range is reduced somewhat as you cant fit as much into the space but for what it does sell which there is a lot you can get some fab deals. Again the store sell the usual groceries along with cds/dvd's/games and technology with tvs mobiles and mp3 players. Always a good store to go to if you dont want to drive to the ricoh. Has magazines, books , homeware, electricals, DVD's , CD's a pharmacy, bakery, etc. There is a valet car cleaning service in the carpark.

Considering it is so large what always surprises me about this store is it is very relaxed. The high ceilings and glass front make it very light and airy. It is quiet so if you want a large choice but don't like cramped and busy supermarkets this could be a good compromise for you. From Monday to Friday it is 24 hours so you really can turn up whenever suits you. The range of products is very good and as the store is airy the size of the place doesn't over awe you so you can mosey round without missing anything. This relaxed feeling seems to spread to the staff too. There is plenty of parking and always plenty of trolleys/baskets to hand. As it is a Tesco I find some items can be a bit pricey compared to other supermarkets in the region.

The non-food departments contain a varied selection of goods at excellent prices, while the food sections of the store are well stocked and easy to navigate. My only complaint would be that the system of switching to self-service checkouts only after 10pm (i.e. there are no manned checkouts available after that time) is a bit of a pain if you are visiting alone and have a huge trolley full of goods that you have to process all by yourself. Other than that, recommended as a relatively stress-free place to shop (well, as stress-free as supermarket shopping ever gets).

Yes it is good for some of the quality brands but Tesco's own brand for me is too cheap. For example the ham from Tesco's was 25p cheaper than Sainsburys. But the Sainsburys Ham was a lot lot better. Worth more than 25p better in my opinion. The self service tills do seem to be a bit of a pain and there always seems to be one plonker who is right in front of you who doesnt know how to use it. Can be an efficient way nevertheless. Tesco's is my weekly shopping store for branded goods, but i wouldnt use Tesco for its own branded stuff.

There is good parking and many other shops located with the cannon park shopping centre so it makes it well worth a visit if you live quite close by. However, for a more complete shopping experience i would adivse the Arena Park tesco which is the biggest in europe and sells almost everything in one store.
