Washed it down with a Chilean cabernet. The steak was cooked perfectly....and had a generous portion of fat on the cut. Finished the meal off with 2 fernet's on the house. Overall the food is simple with no frills. Big portions are filling and will hit the spot when you are hungry and feel like Latin cuisine in BDX.

We ordered empanadas (the best part - tasty but small) beef croquettes (disappointing), Mrs G ordered a fish dish which was good she said, for me a Margarita (good but so small compared to the US sadly) and a beef pie (big mistake). Things get lost in translation - it was actually the same (I think) shredded beef as in the croquettes (much, not at all special) and covered in mashed potato. I wasn't enjoying it and pouring on black pepper to get some flavor - but the worst part was when a found a long (6 inches or so) curly black hair entwined with the shredded beef - yikes!! Our server was good all along and was as shocked as me to see the hair and gave a dirty look to the kitchen (open). She apologized, I didn't want anything else to eat and she did the right thing taking it off the bill. Retains 3 stars because of her.
