I have been wanting to try iCRYO since I move here and I was so excited to finally do it! The first day Kylie (I think that was her name) was so helpful. She gave me a tour and walked me through my first cryo session which I was nervous for lol It was cold but not as bad as I thought and I felt much better after getting out. It was exhilarating! Thank goodness for the musical distraction! The space is beautiful, clean, and has so many fun offerings. I bought the day pass and came back the next day with my husband for him to try and he absolutely loved the compression therapy. I used cryo at other places, in the past for health reasons. But recently I had a great fall and I was in pain. It was a Sunday and I was bruised. I called iCryo. They were open on a Sunday, explain my situation and received the royal treatment. Not only was my pain lessened but I had a sense of calmness. The ladies there were concerned, conscientious, helpful and knowledgeable about what I needed. I became a member as this is a healthy practice. After several attempts to visit this place I reluctantly scheduled an appointment. I arrived on time and my tour guide was very helpful and friendly however the other staff were a little stiff and unfriendly. It was my understanding that during my visit I would be able to receive services however after the tour they informed the gentleman that I needed to return later in the day because they were busy. I found that very interesting because no one was there except one person receiving services. Needless to say I'll never return to this establishment and I don't recommend any person of color because I felt truly unwelcome with everyone except for the gentleman who provided the tour. read more

For me, running entered my life much later than most (at the age of 44). My first run was in 2016 and I recall that 1/2 mile being one of my most uncomfortable moments. However with time my appreciation and love of the sport grew quickly and in October 2017, I ran my first marathon in 4:47 (Marine Corps in Washington, DC). Since that time I have completed 48 marathons including the 6 world majors (Chicago, Boston, New York City, Berlin, London and Tokyo) and most recently finished the Sydney marathon (which most likely will be deemed the 7th world major in 2025). During all my training, iCRYO - St. John's played a significant role in my recovery. I would never have been able to put myself on the starting line without the personal care and attention to detail that Joel, Allison, Erin and the entire iCRYO family has shown me. Their willingness to go above and beyond my expectation is a refreshing change from the normal business transaction. The relationship I have developed with the owners and employees has been extraordinary and has allowed me to become healthier and more educated on the rehabilitation services available to me. As per my usual, I needed to get an IV infusion for my dehydration. I was able to make a same day appointment, which was nice. The staff was really professional and kind; they made sure to check in with periodically to make sure k was doing ok, and brought me not one, but two blankets to make my stay comfortable. I have used their lifestyle services in the past as well, and love the way I feel afterwards. What is really cool is that they give you a tour of the facilities so you can see for yourself how everything works. Their apps also very easy to use, and allows you to see the entire day and all times that are open. Top notch! read more

I began going to iCryo when they first opened. I have always found the staff to be welcoming, helpful, and knowledgeable. Because I have enjoyed my experiences so much, I often purchase gift cards for friends to try iCryo out. Last year I had to have a total shoulder replacement. Not long after the surgery I was back at iCryo using the cryogenic chamber to help reduce inflammation and promote healing. I firmly believe that using cryogenics along with physical therapy sped up my healing. In fact my surgeon released me about 6 months after my surgery telling me he had never done that before nor had any of his patients been able to move their shoulder into the positions that I could. He said that I no longer needed him and to keep up what I was doing! But, the help benefits that I have been getting from iCryo didn't stop there. In Nov 2023 I had RSV. Can't remember ever being that sick. I had heard of the health benefits of infusions but had never tried them. As soon as I was able I walked into iCryo and got my first one. Within 24 hours I felt like I was almost back to my old self! That would not be the last one I would get. In January 2024 I got another one to boost my immune system prior to an international trip. I was one of the few people who did not get sick with the flu on that trip! I even sported my iCryo shirt while in Argentina! (Yes, people asked me what the shirt meant! Apparently it's not a huge thing there. See my photos.) I'm not saying that everyone will have the same health experiences as I have had. I was a bit skeptical of the holistic approach to my osteoarthritis pain and inflammation throughout my body.
