I am a self employed CAD Designer and have been since 1994. Usually I get one of my talented friends to help me when I have hardware issues. Yesterday I was in the middle of a real busy work week and my CPU would not power up. Period. Nothing. My usual fix it buddies were out of state or could at work and I needed it done like NOW. One of the fix it buddies I called (who is a now a CIO in Ohio) suggested going to ICS in Spring Lake. So I unplugged everything and brought it in, explained my situation (need it now please - it's my business!) to Scott Dusterwinkle. About an hour later he called and said it was done!!! Some quirky power switch was all that was wrong and they fixed it in house for the minimum price. Then they stayed after closing time so I could pick it up and get back to work!!! We had a bad experience with ICS Data. They charged us three times what they had estimated. When we repeatedly tried to ask them about the invoice, they took months to respond and then were rude. We won't be returning. read more

I was repeatedly experiencing problems with my computer, Internet Explorer was crashing frequently, my calendar became unreadable and in general the computer was becoming a nuisance to use. I took it to ICS in Spring Lake and they informed me that repairs would take 24 hours. I was pleasantly surprised at the fast service because the last time I had a computer repaired it took over a week. ICS had to reload Windows 7 for me and I've been using my computer for about two weeks now with no issues. All my files and pictures were saved and my favorites are actually listed more orderly than when I sent the computer to them. I'd recommend ICS to anyone needing computer repair. The service was friendly and knowledgeable. They explained what they were going to do before they did it and the price was reasonable. read more

ICS is awful!!! They know nothing about MAC's! They overcharged ! If you want your computer fixed do not bring it here!

Bad experience. Won't return. They "guarantee" satisfaction - my supposedly repaired computer returned to me not functioning. I returned it, they did fix it, but copped an attitude and blamed me for the problem. Go elsewhere! read more
