My name is Chris and I was looking for a dependable company to give me a quote to build a deck on…read moreto the front of my house. After an hour of Google searches, I narrowed my list down to a couple of businesses based on their website and perceived quality of work. Affordable Decks was one of the companies that I selected, so I called and talked to Mike Wall (owner). He was very courteous and friendly on the phone, and he said that he would be more than happy to come out and give me a quote. We made plans to meet at 5:15pm the next day which worked out perfectly for me. I made sure that I left work a little early so that I would be home in time to meet him. After waiting for almost 30 minutes past the time we agreed to meet, I called him to find out if he was lost or on his way. Mike answered and apologized for not calling me and said that he had a dentist appointment earlier that day and had his teeth pulled, so he was sleeping on the couch. I told him no problem and I asked when would be a good time to plan for him to come out again. Mike suggested that we do it the very next evening. We agreed to meet at my home at 6:15pm. I specifically asked him to please call me if something came up an he couldn't make it and he promised that he would. The next day I raced home from work to ensure that I would be there when he arrived. 30 minutes after the agreed upon time, still no Mike. So I sent him a text and said "Apparently customer service isn't at the top of your list. I'll find another builder who wants my money. Thanks, Chris." To which Mike replied "Yeah sorry about that. It does get hectic when you gotta bid them sale them and build them. Sorry agin. Good luck." He later offered to come out for a 3rd time, but that just doesn't sit right with me. I can totally understand things popping up & unforeseen circumstances, but to miss 2 appointments in a row tells me that the quality of service just might be as sketchy as his word. Was in a bind with getting a swimming pool liner installed (already paid for the liner). The…read morebusiness which was supposed to do it at the end of May would not return calls when trying to find out when they will install the liner. The liner was sitting in my garage so I started calling around (mid July) to get it installed from other pool installers but everyone said they couldn't do it because of liability issues. I contacted Chapman and Sons and explained my situation. Chapman said if I would drain the pool they would be out the next day. About lunch time the next day they showed up and installed the liner like true professionals. One day later my grandkids were swimming. I would use them again for future projects. Thanks "Chapman."

We asked Absolute Quality Flooring to provide a quote for us to replace the flooring in our…read morebasement and a few rooms upstairs. They were prompt and showed up at the specified time, which we appreciated. However, their salesman, Colin, was difficult to work with from the beginning. He had terrible communication and made it clear that this sale didn't matter to him. It was like pulling teeth just to set up an initial meeting with him. When he did stop by with samples of flooring as planned, none of them remotely matched what we'd asked for. He suggested sourcing a few more samples and said he'd follow up with us the following Tuesday. Tuesday came and went, but there was no communication from him. We tried reaching out to him the following day just to touch base, but he didn't answer phone or text. By that Thursday we finally contacted his colleague, John, to try to figure out where we were at in the process and why the agreed upon follow-up had not been kept. John said that he would contact their other sales rep and get back to us by that afternoon. But, unsurprisingly, that never happened. It's been almost exactly a month now, and there's still been no communication from them. So thankful we never ended up using them for our flooring project! I can't imagine what a mess that would have been. They're unprofessional and unreliable. Would definitely NOT recommend using them for any projects you might have in mind.

They came out and talked me through the project and gave recommendations on the length and pattern of tile with assurances they could cut the glass tile and make it look nice. Extremely knowledgeable and friendly! It was installed quickly and done well. We are incredibly happy with our tile and experience!!
