It was pretty delightful & the staff were super friendly and interacting with the animals. The CC was started 20 years ago with Al the Alligator! He was dropped off at the Vet clinic and they started CC all around him. Pretty awesome. It's not a massive space so it was perfect to get there at 3:30pm - in time for the 4pm show which is followed by an Al the Alligator feeding! We checked out all the habitats on the outside as well. Super cool experience - I'd love to come back for one of their turtle yoga, 18+ paint nights, etc. They always have pretty cool themed programming. Also follow their social media - they post the best content!

First time visit at the Petting Farm at Domino's. We took a Grandbaby for an outing today. It was a…read morebit chilly (just above 40 degrees and the wind didn't help matters much). As many times as I had driven past Domino's along Route 23, I never knew there was a petting farm nestled back in there! Very well kept, animals' pens were clean, animals all looked very healthy and well cared for. The grounds were also well maintained. Sheep, horses, goats, rabbits, chickens, peacock, donkey, alpaca, geese, etc. In various pens inside and outside of the barns. Animals outside of the buildings also had coverage areas built for them. An aged stationary tractor is on display for children to climb up onto the seat and play "Farmer John" for a while. There was also a playground area as well as an oversized doll house for children to experience. A poll barn is used as a gathering center for birthday parties, etc. Great idea for children to go and experience farm animals up close and personal. Fun afternoon.

My sister and I decided to take our kids to the petting farm earlier this week. My daughter turned…read morethree and it was her birthday. We find the place it's small and nice. We go in to the welcome center and our kids-all under 9-are excited to see the farm animals and feed them. We wait around for someone and finally the blonde kid shows up out of nowhere behind the counter and just stands there awkwardly looking at us. We say hi and discuss options for family entrance fee vs individual fees. As my sister and I argue about who will pay, we hear loud barking and out jumps a large black dog from behind the counter and is barking at all the little kids. I immediately step to the side of the counter and survey where all the kids are- the little ones are all screaming and crying. My sister stays calm and immediately goes to her 1 1/2 year old to comfort her and my 3 year old is next to her and her 4 year old is unable to get to her and they are all hysterical. I try to find a way to get to them but the dog is angrily barking between us. My older two immediately run out of the place. Blonde kid is standing there relaxed and smiling not saying a word to us or the dog. I look at him and say oh is he on a leash? He slowly responds no and says he's safe or something vague. I look at him confused and he really is enjoying it and having a hard time hiding it. My sister manages somehow to get over to the door with the kids clinging to her and I finally get to my kids to comfort them. Our kids normally love seeing dogs and have had many positive experiences with dogs, but that was aggressive barking in a tiny space, and the dog seemed otherwise well-trained so I'm sure he didn't sense danger when these tiny humans entered. Do all the kids get barked at here? By this time the kids are traumatized especially the birthday girl and my sister's 4 year old. They don't enjoy the rest of the farm at all and continue crying when they see the goats and sheep when they normally love visiting the farm and feeding the animals, who not to mention don't seem to be well-cared for either.

We were lucky enough to attend for a party, and the private rooms for those are large and well-equipped. Kids were able to pop between the play area and the party room during their time in the venue. Bathrooms are kid friendly with kid potty seats. I don't remember any of the two banes of our existence with a little one, namely a sensor flush on the toilet or an air dryer (both noisy things that make public restrooms look less attractive). One of my favorite features was the quiet room. Calm, dark, and with a big comfy kiddo couch and headphones for those who need them, it was a welcome respite from the sometimes boisterous play area that even a parent could appreciate! I am in firm belief that the overall planning and logistics of this place are professionally done & handled well! This venue is a must visit if in the area and you like hands on action. That did not kill our vibe. Tickets are $16 a person and under 2 is free. We purchased the tickets and we parked our stroller. The kids walked up the stairs and went into this water room. My son loved it so much. He was squealing and running around. My daughter loved played with the balls and throwing them in the water. Once we were done with this floor, we decided to go up the stairs. We were shocked to see a massive preschool room suitable for ages 4 and under. They have tons of toys for the kids. They had another water station. My kids were dry at first. However, a little boy sprayed water at my son and soaked him as his mom watched and said nothing. This didnt make our experience bad because luckily we had a change of clothes. I only say this to warn you to bring a change of clothes just in case they get wet. We didn't really go to the third floor. My husband said it was more for older kids when he went to check. The kids were having too much fun inside the playroom. We will definitely be back and hopefully not on a day where an event is taking place.

For a flat fee, we get to jump on the variety of trampolines and run around for an hour without any much bigger kids being around. We didn't eat the food, but I can't imagine its at all worth the price. Finally, the arcade... OMG... wildly overpriced. This is usually the case with this kind of thing, but this place is beyond the pale. There are other places to take kids, that have similar attractions. Most are not in Ann Arbor. I'd stay away, if you aren't rich, or value your kids health.

Went today for their Superb Owl event - it was cute! It was set up in stations so you could stroll…read morearound and do different things. Got to see a great horned owl which was very cool. The other owls were tucked away and asleep in their enclosures, which makes sense. Also saw a bald eagle, a couple hawks, and critters like a tarantula, snapping turtle and others in their critter house. Staff/volunteers on site were super knowledgeable and friendly, and there was a lot to learn about owls during this event. Believe the trails and outdoor bird enclosures are free and open to the public year round.

We then headed outside, dodging raindrops, to see the exterior raptor enclosures. There were a variety of owls, hawks, and more. We especially enjoyed watching the owl that was having a good time on its swing. They are currently also working on creating a nearby nature playscape. The section that is complete so far is very nice - a very neat slide, places to climb, a higher up area to look out from, and more. They also offer some trails to explore. Paved parking is available and staff were friendly.

Located in Dexter in what looks like it used to be a grocery store, there is plenty of space to spread out and run around, bounce on a trampoline floor or bounce house, or take a quick break for a snack. Put on your grippy socks and you're good to go. We spent hours here burning off steam and playing in the quieter area upstairs that has dress up and pretend kitchens and checkout lanes. Throughout our time the staff was constantly coming through and sweeping and cleaning, which made us feel better about our kiddo touching everything in sight during our visit. I'm so glad that we discovered a new favorite place in Just Play and am already looking forward to our next visit there

Parking around the area is usually available and open. Bring the whole family, or just come have a relaxing day at the park.
