They had a variety of drinks available in the fridge next to the cashier, and some cupcakes on display (including a dog friendly "pupcake"). Visually the cupcakes were nothing extraordinary yet still appealing, the toasted coconut one more so in my opinion. Also the raspberry swirl frosting flavor was overly sweet. The marionberry cream cheese was way better with a good texture. I dropped in to pick up cupcakes for my birthday. I only need a half dozen. That said, it was a Tuesday morning and they were quite busy. I would call my order ahead in the future but the wait wasn't long. I was a bit confused as neither of the staff acknowledged me and I was left to wonder if I should have called ahead. I get they were busy but maybe just a take a look here and we will be right with you would be good. It really took them no time at all to complete my order which was great (I make it super easy) because there are a lot of choices. When I come back I'll be more prepared. This place is dangerous! Heck, I gained five pounds just walking by the place so you can imagine how much I gained having two of their German Chocolate cupcakes. Great spot where you can customize cupcakes - I loved the vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream frosting and their seasonal pumpkin cake with cream cheese frosting. Highly recommend the vegan options as well! We had a vegan chocolate cake with vegan chocolate icing and it was the best vegan cupcake I've ever had! Pretty good overall they do not hold overnight though. They were super gross and stale the very next morning. Wasn't a fan of the strawberry frosting but the lemon was amazing! Chocolate was super yummy actually loved the chocolate chips in it and I'm not a big chocolate fan. Red velvet was good loved the frosting on it. Great little dessert spot! So many flavor combos to choose from, even on their GF menu. We showed up before they opened, something we usually try to avoid doing, but the workers received us with great attitudes despite the slightly large group of people I was with. I ordered a lemon cupcake with toasted coconut frosting, a combo I would definitely recommend. The cupcake was light, fluffy and moist, and the frosting was just the right amount of sweet. Get it together, Ida's in Redmond! I ordered these cupcakes on MONDAY. I went through the ring around on Wednesday when trying to add 6 more regular all free cupcakes to my order of 4 dozen minis. We're talking lost paperwork, an insecure employee unsure of what to do, phone calls and long voicemails back backtracking and explaining... So unprofessional from a well established bakery as yourself. It's Friday, I get a hunch to make sure my order is ready for pick up at the time they told me to pick up in the afternoon, and she tells me, "yep, come on in", only to get a call moments later saying your division store hasn't even brought them in yet! (Minis). I wait 2 hours, and walk in to pick up my order, and the guy was scrambling to complete my 6 all frees. I'm sorry - it's unacceptable. I called Wednesday for 6 extra cupcakes. I don't know what the heck is going on at this store, but hire some competent, professional, confident people, please. I cannot believe I just paid $70 for this. read more

Great Service from order to delivery! It's an important birthday; we can't be there because of the pandemic, what do I do? The wonderful people at Ida's were the answer to my questions and did a great job in making and delivering birthday cupcakes. For a dozen minis, I got to pick the flavors (chocolate), the icing (3 different flavors), and the color scheme! All of that with a low delivery charge, and my aunt was thrilled with cupcakes arriving at her front door on her special day. She says they taste great!
