We had Idaho Fence install a solar gate opener. The gate was preexisting and in great shape. Aaron and Mason did a great job assessing the angle of the driveway and were able to mitigate that with the solar gate opener. It is now installed by their professionalism and dedication to our satisfaction. Everyone we have dealt with has been super accommodating. Since the gate was installed, we decided to have them add on an extension fence to match the gate opening. That will be reviewed separately. BTW, we had 3 bids, Idaho Fence was in the middle of the group but clearly the most experienced and cost effective. We are definitely repeat customers. We obtained several bids and they happened to be the least expensive. I have had past experience with Idaho Fence at my work and they have done a good job. So we went with them for this project. At the time of the estimate we were told to expect 4-6 weeks lead time before install. Right at 4 weeks we received the call to plan for the following Thursday. Two employees showed up and completed the post install. (My wife and I saved $1k by removing the old fence prior to their arrival.) The following Monday they came back and completed the fence. Overall they did a very nice job but there were a couple of things that could have made it better. 1: The crew left in a hurry and didn't clean up the fence very well. There was vinyl shavings on much of the fence and there was concrete dust on quite a bit of it as well. 2: I wish they would include handles on the gates in addition to the latches that are provided. I ended up purchasing some on Amazon and installing myself. Again, overall a very good experience and you can see the pics that show how much it improves privacy, security, and the overall look of the yard. read more

Wind storm destroyed our old cedar fence So I started calling around and after speaking with Kim I was pleased with the price and customer service so I scheduled a full rebuild of my fence. Crew arrived on time , they were very respectful , clean and efficient. They cleaned up very well and communication was great. We had a great experience 2 years ago when we were having the fence installed! Reliable, had it done promptly During some recent wind, we had some panels blow down which cause some breaking in the plastic mounts. We called multiple times and they were difficult to get ahold of. When we finally got in touch with them they told us they had to come have an assessor come out... after a week of waiting he came and left. There was no follow up so after a week we called and called again. Finally someone called us back and they said they didn't have the assessment back. After expressing our frustration someone came on the phone and said they had a crew coming to our area next week and they would fix it (also said it's under warranty... You guessed it. No wine showed or answered our phone calls that week to explain anything. read more

The crew foreman had decades of experience in installing fences, and he stayed in constant contact with me to answer questions and ensure the job was done exactly as I envisioned. Very unsatisfactory experience! They gave us a bid for replacing a fence that they had originally installed , we signed a contract, gave them half down and was put on a 6 week waiting list. At the end if 6 weeks they sent a crew out and said they didnt have the right tools and equipment...then we were notified that they would not install a new fence because it was not in their scope..whatever that means . We had a wooden fence installed by Idaho Fence in July 2018. The installers cut corners and pieced horizontal rails together. At our request the rails were replaced with full length rails. Now eight months after install the horizontal rails on another section of the fence are separating from the terminal posts. Very disappointed in the quality of the work. read more

Extremely poor attitude and didn't care about wasting my time. They had a trailer for sale on Craigslist. I was the first person to call on the trailer and requested more pictures and additional information. Keith told me that it would not be a problem. He would get them and get back to me. It might take a day, but he would do it. I wanted the additional information before I drove over a 100 miles to look at the trailer. Three days later still nothing. I called and his excuse was: "He has been too busy. He will make sure he gets it done immediately." This was Friday. He told me that if someone else came in they would sell it to them 'even though he was the one holding things up'. Once again, I heard nothing. I called again Monday afternoon. Keith said "Oh we sold that trailer right after I talked to you on Friday". After this experience, I will never consider doing any business with Idaho fence.
