We told them we didn't feel good sending our remaining payment until the job was done correctly, so they finally came back to fix the problem that was visual at eye level and would have presented rust in the future and looked terrible. They were inconsiderate to dump their unused concrete in a pile that resulted in a hard mess in our yard. Hard to believe the other high rated reviews are real.

I made a…read morecouple of calls over several months to ask about automatic gate openers, and Josh always took my calls and was so helpful in guiding me to purchase a Liftmaste gate opener instead of one of the cheaper brands. It was obvious that I was not going to purchase from them (they sold only high end equimpment)- yet he still spoke to me as if I were a paying customer on a couple of occasions. After purchasing a Liftmaster online from another company and installing it myself I ran into alot of problems. I needed local help and there did not seem to be anyone that had the expertise that Northwest Fence did with automatic gate openers. I called Josh and explained my problem, and to my surprise he had a gate expert at my Ranch the next day. He evaluated my installation, and spent almost an hour with me troubleshooting possible problems. They did not charge me for this visit, and honestly- MOST companies would charge for a service call. The expert that came out (who preferred to be un-named) was very kind, and sympathetic to the mess I had got myself into- got me on the right track to solving my problems. So, I dont know who the people writing low star reviews worked with, but the professionalism, kindness, and depth of knowledge exhibited by Northwest Fence, in my opinion was 6 stars. I hope for the chance to work with them in the future. If you are considering a fence or gate opener- I hope you will call them. The installation crew was professional and courteous. Second, the process we had to go through with the company to get the projects completed was abominable! Delay and excuse one after another ("very busy"), no return phone calls or emails for days. We started the process with them in early June and it was not completed until just before Labor Day - nearly 3 months. I would recommend using this company only if you specify a completion date in the contract with appropriate penalties if the deadline is not met.
