It was such a great stop. We love the off the beaten path kind of places and this is certainly one of them! We got there late in the afternoon and all the shops on Main street were closed, so we were just window shopping, taking pictures of the quaint Mayberry named stores, when we happened to pass by Mayberry country, just as they were locking up for the day. The owners, Barbara and Don, greeted us just like we were in Mayberry RFD. They insisted they open the store back up for us.....They were tired from a long day, but said they wanted us to be able to take home some souvenirs from their town, so they unlocked the door, turned the lights back on and helped us! AND...they told us all about their little town..where to find the best attractions and they even gave us a map to find them. Their little shop is great and we certainly did find some great things to take home....but the most important thing we found was Barbara and Don. They have to be the nicest shop owners anywhere!! Don said that the most important things to him are the tourists that stop in their town. How rare is that??? If you stop in Airy, be sure to visit them! I want mushrooms as a scenery piece like in a forest.. I went by the second time to elaborate show them a picture of a low lion greenery leaves. I told them not to use the green leaves, but just go by the height that's all. They did not listen to my recommendations at all. All I got was the same spray as ordinary people would expect. With a few mushrooms, stuck here and there that was not visible at all. There was no tree bark no tree lambs nothing that resembled a country with them. There were no wildflowers. I walked into the funeral home. I was taken back. But what can you say? Take my flowers off my mom's casket no you just have to go on and bury it. Hopefully people read the reviews. I don't know if going twice helped but maybe people can do something more than I did. I would not use them again in the future.

Tammy, the owner of personal touch, was difficult to deal with. I canceled six weeks in advance and she used no discretion. Ultimately I ask for my deposits' worth of flowers and she presented to me on May 16 two vases of flowers, which were very nice. As the business owner, I feel Tammy Should have use discretion and refunded my money due to unforeseen circumstances such as the flood that devastated our home. She did not feel the same. I would never recommend her. She stated she would sue me if I gave her a negative review.
