I would give this a zero if I could. I'm being nice with a 1 star. They are so incompetent on anything RC unless they sell it. They barely have parts you need and the best answer is I get when I ask is " we can order it for you " I friggen can order only myself dumb a$$ They also like to sell you $h!t you don't need or persuade you " oh wouldn't you like to do this or buy this instead. I have to give only 4/5 stars for this shop. In this day and age, a brick and mortar hobby shop is hard to keep afloat with the massive unrelenting competition of online shopping where you can not only buy anything sold in the store, but also literally every other radio control and general hobby item that exists. They also literally cannot keep up with or undercut online shops that have no real overhead to pay for. Remember, these guys have bills to pay to keep this store open all week. Don't be so hard on them. They're in it for the love of the hobby. But what they do is a good job so long as you're willing to approach them friendly. They can be a little brash, but they are also rushed and under stress. They helped me when I was new to the hobby, and even though I have mostly and almost entirely moved past Horizon Hobby products for aircraft, I try to pop in every now and then for a purchase of a new toy. I also go there for odds and ends items. I'd much rather take a short drive than wait for weeks to a month for small items like carbon fiber rod or solid metal piano wire for my projects. It's also nice to be able to just go out and buy your connectors rather than wait for them to arrive. I have read of them being rude, and It's also happened to me before, but what you need to do is educate yourself, at least a little bit so that you yourself have an idea of what you're talking about when asking questions if you're new to the hobby and seeking help. WORST experience in a store in my life. I'm so angry I'm still in the parking lot shaking I went it and this young man seemed like he wanted to help to I told him I'm completely new to the RC hobby world and that I wanted to get into it and that I have nothing to get started bit an old car I wanted to get going the guy immediately flipped kept asking questions I already told him I didn't know then continued to make me feel like I shouldn't do this. I have helped a lot of people get into the sport of paintball so I know the first experience someone has in the Hobbie is what they think this hobby is about. So far I've had not help from this store and I will NEVER step foot in the door of this shop I will now order from the 1000s of sites that sell everything they has cheaper and I'm not getting the horrible experience.... when u sell products that I can buy online cheaper you shouldn't push people to buy online because your employees think they are smarter then everyone .bad move ideal hobbies bad move read more
