SAVE YOURSELF THE TROUBLE. Wish I could give 0 stars like many of the other reviews. I ordered my children's uniforms at the beginning of August and everything was in stock when I ordered, the website also advertised 2-5 day shipping which is inaccurate. My order never shipped because one item was out of stock (no one notified me of this delay they just never shipped my items). I had to drive to the physical store the day before school starts because no one could take the time to communicate that there would be a delay in shipping. I called customer service who was completely unhelpful (and seemingly a child?) I wish I never ordered from here and I will not be returning again. Save yourself the money and hassle and don't buy from this place online. Placed an online order for two school uniform skirts in girls size 12 in August. A month and several email communication attempts later, they finally responded and shipped the items. When they arrived, the two skirts are not even close to the same size. One skirt has a 27" waist. The other has a 32" waist and has elastic to go even larger. The Ideal Uniform tag inside has a hand-written size number on it, which is clearly wrong as the other skirt has the brand name tags still in it with the correct size tag. And despite paying to have the items shipped to begin with, if you want to get the correct size items, you have to pay to ship the item back to them and just hope that you will even get another item back. No guarantee that would be the right size or item if it ever did come since it took them more than a month to even ship the item to begin with and the two items that have the same item number and size are wildly different in actual size. The two skirts are even at the other side of the waist in the photo and this is the size difference. read more

I have been waiting for more than 2 months for my order to arrive. When I finally got it, it was the wrong color. It should be navy, but what I got were the black cardigans. The only option the customer service offered was to send it back with a shipping fee. They also told me that if a tag says it is navy, then it is a navy color. I am not colorblind to see the difference between navy and black. Not sure what to do now. read more

Horrible. I understand there are shipping delays, but what I don't understand is the lack of communication and reachability. They don't answer the phone at all. In fact I was told by a sales rep that when it get busy they turn the phones off to the store. So they would rather you waist time to visit the location to get answers about an order placed the beginning of August. Im forced to deal with them because the uniform is exclusive to this company. Its so frustrating that you cant contact them and when you hold 45 minutes they still don't have what you need anyway. Today I called back as I was writing this review and held for over 20 minutes!!! Literally the worst business to ever exist. Placed my order on August 15th. A MONTH later and still haven't received my items and after calling for several days to weeks not being able to get an answer on when I will receive them they FINALLY did a partial shipment as "favor". Now going into WEEK 7 and I still have yet to receive my final item which is a fleece jacket after being told that they were getting them in stock 2 weeks ago and an email stating that I should receive it "soon". You call the number and you get a call center with the rudest girls ever that hang up on you after giving you attitude. Can't speak to an owner or a manager unless you go into the store. Why take an order if you don't have an item in stock or you can't get them in. And after SEVERAL emails no answer back from anyone. Joe the owner you NEED to do better than this!! Ideal uniforms has the worst customer service ever!!! Two years in a row I've attempted to order uniforms for my daughter and was very dissatisfied with the service. The first online order I placed online was to be shipped in 5-7 business days. After two weeks of not receiving my order I finally emailed the company and they replied that they didn't have any of the items i ordered in stock, yet their website did not reflect that. They ended up issuing me a refund but my daughter who's attends a charter school, had to go almost a month without having her uniform. The second online order was placed July 22,2023, it is now August 3 and I still have not received my order. School started on august 28th for my daughter and again she has no uniform for school. This company is the absolute worst and I will not be spending any more money with them. read more

Store employees are friendly and helpful. Store appears to be fully stocked. Shelves and racks are neat and presentable. My child school uniform is sold here so I've been frequenting the store since before the school year started (Sept 2021) to get a head start However they never seem to have multiple pieces of the bigger sizes I need XL & up so I'm buying maybe one pants & shirt at a time that's my only downside. read more

Back in July I came into this place to purchase my sons uniforms for the year. It's his first year attending school so I didn't purchase much because I didn't know what to expect. Well.. October 2nd I decided to order him 2 more shirts and 2 sweatpants ONLINE. HUGE MISTAKE. I selected XXXS and then THEIR website prompts you to select YOUTH or ADULT. Obviously I select youth because after all he is only 3. Next day I get a phone call from someone to make sure the address is correct. 3 days later package arrives, shirts are perfect size. Pants.. well I ordered a YXS because again THEIR website reverted back to that size well I recieved a medium. So no big deal I call them and tell them about the wrong items and all of a sudden it is my fault? I am told I have to go out of my way to return the items and that I can't ship them back to the store because they have no way of tracking the items. I was so upset that I asked to speak to a manager. Never recieved a call back, two days later I cal again and get a nasty guy on the phone who tells me oh well bring them back and I will exchange it, then continues to tell me they don't have the size I need (2-3). But he will ship them once they "restock". I was livid. Fast forward to today.. I walk-in and was helped by a women with glasses (ONLY person who was nice and sweet) and she helps me exchange the items, and I also purchased 2 more sweatshirts. I then explain what happened and she herself confirmed that a YXS is a size 4 (which Is what I ended up getting today being that they don't have a 2-3). So I kindly ask for a refund on the $8.71 for shipping since their employee mad the error and she said let me call up. Well she calls and is told to tell me "no, my fault I selected it". Well I let her know that indeed it is NOT my fault and your seriously going to charge me $8.71 for shipping In which YOUR employee who shipped the items made the error? She then went to the back to talk to him again, and came out and said he won't refund. I went ahead and disputed the charge of shipping with my bank immediately. I am disgusted with how the person on the other end handled this entire situation. I don't live nearby and had to drive 45 mins EACH way to return items YOUR employee messed up. Should I send a bill for my gas and mileage? Might I add I run a very well established salon that now has 10 locations, and as a manger myself, I would NEVER treat someone with such disrespect as this "manager" did today. Over $8.71.. had you offered a t-shirt or money off the sweatshirt or something.. I would have been fine with that. But instead you chose to hide in the back and let your employee do your dirty work.p read more

This place is the pits. It is so unorganized, they never have the right sizes for our school, and the bathroom is gross. The management is rude and doesn't respond to requests. We use the one in Valley Stream.... Everything is falling apart and dirty and disheveled. They don't have good sizes. The materials are cheap. And the prices aren't great. The fitting rooms are horrible. There was no soap or paper towels or a working drier in the bathroom. They just shrugged when I mentioned this. The lines are long. I have no choice because our school uses this place but if you have the ability to get your clothes anywhere else you should get them somewhere else. I normally spend $1000 in school uniforms and this year has been the worst. Customer service at the actual store is horrendous, no sort of professionalism. The new hires have attitudes, doesn't seem like they want to be there. The 10% off will not be applied if you do not say anything. Not helpful at all. Most of the items were unavailable in store so I was instructed to order online. After placing my order, the order showed that it would arrive 2 weeks ago. I have not received anything. My children are wearing gym uniforms and there are no updates. Tried to call the store directly but the calls gets redirected to a "call center". Repress Regina was completely useless, disrespectful and incompetent. Not sure why they created a call center if nothing is resolved. I will never shop here again. I am still awaiting my $400 package and apparently the main uniform is in back order so who know when I will get them. Guess it's gym uniforms until ideal decides to give me my stuff. read more

The day before school and the line stretched down the block 15 minutes before opening. As soon as the doors opened, the attendant was sprinting around getting customers what they needed. I have called this place over 10 times looking for the status of my order and have been lied to on each occasion. First the shirts are being shipped to me this week, call the following week, the shirts are in back order. Call the next time the shirts will be shipped this week. One week later the shirts will not be coming in at all. Ask for a refund and give a credit card number, told it would be applied to my card, LIE. Call again for the refund told it would be applied, LIE again!!! Third time, same result. What is going on here? Are we lying to keep the money for shirts ordered for student uniforms?? Customer service sucked! 3 worker behind the registers. No one on the floor to help. I had difficulties finding what I needed had to ask for help with each item. They didn't have my child sized in anything had to get a larger size in almost everything but the shirts. Spent 200+ dollars . Came to this location for olca uniforms! The prices are way to high , OK me thinking I was going to receive the uniforms with the patch on it was wrong ! You basically purchase the uniform items ... for ex the uniform cardigan an they give you a patch to iron on ! Wtf I could of save my gas + time an stop at cookies were the uniforms are cheaper. The downfall + catch in coming here is the school patches aren't sold separately you have to purchase a uniform item . only the long sleeve t-shirts come with the patch! They are HORRIBLE!!! I am going to do all that I can to encourage my nieces school to partner with another vendor so that there is another choice. They didn't have her size at the pop up store (that happens) I went online and ordered 2 weeks ago they said it was back ordered...I then learned that a new supply was in store. I called and it took 20 minutes to get a live voice I asked that the order be cancelled as Inwould go and purchase the items in store. The operator advised against cancelling although i asked that she do so. Thankfully I managed to buy what my nice needed. Well it turns out they did not cancel as I requested HOWEVER 2 weeks later when they should be mailing my items they cancelled saying products no longer available!!!!! I never wrote a review a day in my life because I just don't care to waste my time but this Is beyond .. I purchased uniforms in their store in BK . I asked for royal Blue in scrubs so I was given a color when I get to work it's the wrong color. I called the store in Rockaway which is 1 hour from my house. Do you guys have that color she said I have to come in to see it . I told her I'll get there for 6:45pm and she said the store closes at 7 pm . On my way there I called and said please I'm getting there right at 6:59 pm , she said we close at 7 pm on the dot . I responded I just need an exchange . Her stupid self said hurry ! We' ll see . I get there for 6:59pm. All doors were already close and store was deserted . Luckily for me Some guy was nice enough to open and apologize. He said there nothing he can do since the registers shit down at 7 pm even if I pay cash the store needs records of purchase. I'm extremely aggravated I was stuck in traffic in nasty weather. I called why tell me we close at 7 pm on the dot when I get there for 6:59 pm and all doors were already close . I tried calling at 6:56 and no one answered the phone so I'm assuming they had already close . Why not also mention the registers shut down at 7 pm so if I get there too close I won't be able to make the transaction . My thing is don't tell me one thing and do another . I HATE businesses that have no consideration for customers . I wish I could give a 0 star for the aggravation I just experienced today .. While I found the staff polite, they were basically useless, from the greeter sales girl, to the manager, to the checkout cashier. What happened to customer service? All anyone could say is that my son's uniforms were on back order and "hopefully" the store would receive more supplies within the next 3 weeks. I was then encouraged to place an order online with the checkout girl, AND pay a shipping fee to have the uniforms- when they come- delivered to my home. I could have ordered the items from my computer at home and saved myself the 45 minute drive and 2 $8 tolls. This store is not worth it. read more
