And she said "yes" when I asked her why she said that they do it "during the holiday season" I told her absolutely not and I went out to my car and took my cards out and left my purse in my car. WHO on earth would feel comfortable leaving their belongings (money especially) behind a counter with cashiers they don't know/trust. Also, I've NEVER heard of any stores doing this.
