Needed a new back for my phone! Back to new!! Happy I went there to get it fixed highly recommend

To start, I'd give this place no stars if it was an option. I brought my phone in for a cracked screen and was told it would be ready by that Tuesday. On Tuesday, I got an email saying the part would take another day to get. Now, it was Christmas week but why make promises you can't keep? I did get a call around 4 PM on Wednesday (Christmas Eve) that it was ready. I had no interest in getting it then as festivities were underway, so I asked if they were open on Friday the 26th. "Yes, we're here all day" was the response I got. So, after a Holiday visit in NJ over Christmas, we drove the 2 hours back home. Since this place is about 30-40 minutes round trip, I decided to drive there first to pick up the phone. Arrived at 11:50 AM, only to find a sign that said "Be back at 12:15". We had 3 kids in the car, had just traveled 2 hours, and were now faced with waiting for 25 minutes more. I called the store and got the "owner", I asked him why they were closed during business hours and he got agitated and said he was tending to a business matter and he "didn't know what to tell me". I was like Yeah, okay. I was now annoyed as we had to wait or make a round trip back into Stroudsburg to get the phone. We waited, a car pulled up. TWO people got out of the car, casually sauntered up to the door, replete with Dunkin' Iced coffee in hand. I walked in noticeably agitated, was asked my name, I gave it. Suddenly, this clown show told me I had an attitude. LOL, I asked if he was "fvcking kiddin me?" I then explained to him that he promised the phone Tuesday and said he'd be open during HIS posted business hours. He then made an excuse of having to run to the bank and do other business errands (like run to Dunkin?) to which I replied, he should do that shit at the end of the day like all other businesses do. He said I should have called to check to see if he was there... Wow... I've never seen a business (and I use the term very lightly) owner be so in the wrong, make excuses instead of owning their crap, and then get mouthy on top of it. If a place has posted business hours, abide by them. It's not the customer's responsibility to "check" to see if the business is open. A competent owner would have left one of the two people to man the fort. When I finally got my phone he handed it to me and said he fixed the back too and that I was welcome, like he did me a solid. I didn't ask for that service so...also as I started to leave he noticed he hadn't even put the SIM tray back in and when I asked for my case (which I always have on the phone) he claimed I didn't bring it in as he ruffled through things looking for it. I DID bring a case in. Then when I was in the parking lot, he came out with a case. Ironically, it wasn't mine. So due to incompetence, someone else will probably be without a case as well. Not sure why both people had to go for coffee or errands. At any rate, I had many other items I needed fixed but there is no way I'd go back. Horrific business acumen, terrible customer service, and all around bad attitude to be in business. A simple apology would have gone a long way but he chose belligerence, so be it. read more

Dropped my phone off. Never got a call back on Friday. Called back on Saturday. Got a very rude answer. The. Was yelled at when I went to pick up my phone with no explanation and was told they they put my phone back together. My phone was not touched. Horrible customer service and horrible communication. I dropped my note 9 in my work truck, and cracked the screen, I purchased! A new Note 22 ultra , but could not transfer my data because of the broken screen, I went to Stroudsburg mall, and these professional folks at idroped , fixed my screen, and my cousins iPhone screen in less than an hour!! its crazy how much we depend on our cell phones today, but it is good to know that I have a fast reliable place to go if it ever happens again!! Both screens came out great, and I would recommend them to anyone who needs their phone fixed quick!! I was referred to iDropped by another shop as I was having keying problems with my iPad. The previous shop wanted over $1,500 for a new iPad Pro 12.9" as they didn't have the expertise to fix my iPad. I was confronted by a tech guy at iDropped, told him the situation I was having and he took my iPad and started checking it out. After 10-15 minutes, he could not get the problem to reappear. The problem was, while using my iPad onboard keyboard, more often than not, the keyboard would not accept the letters I was keying. Sometimes I would just have to quit typing and do something else. On the internet, sometimes a refresh would solve the problem, but not for long. Anyway the tech guy said it seemed I was having a software situation, which has to do with the way Apple provides stacked release upgrades. He said if I backed up my iPad to a PC or laptop computer, and then restored that same backup to my iPad, he believed that would solve my keying problem. Well, it most certainly did! I would like to Thank that tech guy! You were spot on. Thanks loads! I would highly recommend this computer/Apple shop! Amazing work, super customer service! My phone's charger broke inside my charging jack pod and I brought it in to take a look, they were able to fix it in literally seconds ! My phone is how I conduct all my business, so this was a big deal for me. They saved me an hour drive to the Apple store plus wait time. I was in and out. This is my second time in iDropped. The first time it turned out just be a dirt in the charging port that I didn't see. The guy could have sold me a battery, but was honest and fixed the problem. I just went back today because now a battery was needed. It was replace quickly after a logical check list of troubleshooting steps. Receipt came via email. Two trips. Two very positive experiences. If my phone has a problem, iDropped is my go- to place. Once I could not hear anything - it was just lint inside the speaker. Fixed perfectly In just a few minutes. Another time the phone would not take a charge - Again, fixed perfectly in just a few minutes. A different time the battery kept going dead- Andrew put in a new battery for $50 in under an hour. The prices at iDropped are very reasonable, the service is prompt, and has saved me from spending a fortune on new phones MULTIPLE times. Only giving one star to write this got my iPhone 7 screen fixed after leaving went home took nap woke up and I can not use the left side of my screen and my volume up button doesn't work and screw sticking out bottom of phone meet charger port called a few times they did offer to fix it being that it was under warranty. I'm a mother I work 6 days a week 3rd shift an hour away from stroudsburg. So I'm Coming in super tired from work iPhone in the outside pocket of purse I toss purse on couch phone pops out on couch screen pops out wtf and it's only been a week IF that now I'm otw to them and I know they are not gonna fix it because I tried to put it in myself and cracked the screen just slightly $150 phone bill to be fixed comes back half working now I'm still stuck with it EFF IDROP pay your money else where for quality read more

I hired the Stroudsburg store to replace the screen on my kid's ipad. I have had the same location work on two of my iphones in the past and I never had an issue with their service. It only took a few days for the repair work to be completed. However, after bringing it home it wouldn't charge. I tried several Apple devices and it still wouldn't charge. I called the store and explained the problem. I admitted that it sometimes takes hours to get a full 100% charge on the ipad, but since they replaced the screen this week, it won't charge at all. The manager became rude and started raising his voice and ended up hanging up on me. BEWARE. I'm sorry that I ever recommended this location to people. read more

This is the worst Apple Repair shop Ever. Stay Clear of this shop. They have no problem taking your money but they have a big problem since they aren't able to repair iDevices properly. My first visit was with a ipad 2. The iPad 2 is old and simple. They were to replace the screen, it works fine but when you look at the top edge of the digitizer(where the picture part of the screen is) on a angle you can clearly see light showing through. Which when I brought back they said that was normal after screen repair. Wrong!!! Since it was the second generation I didn't care enough to argue, So I took it home and took it apart. Needed a minor tweak and it was good. But being a idevice repair shop shouldn't they have done this? The newer device I'm more weary to take apart. My little brothers iPhone 6 Plus screen cracked. So with the prices I dropped has it was what I thought my safest cheapest route to take. Big Mistake. The screen was cracked but everything worked perfectly still. When we went to pick it up,the new screen looked great and seemed to work as it should. We got half way home when we noticed that my brothers bars for service were way down compared to my iPhone 6 Plus. We didn't think to much of it, he was just happy to have it back. Not even a hour after getting home the screen stopped all feedback. Even after restarting the phone the screen wouldn't work fully. So we called them up which they asked for our number to call back. Very frustrating since we had already paid them but got no quality workmanship in return. After a few times of restarting the phone while waiting for the call we got it working once again but now they're was Only one bar of service that kept going in and out. To finish my story up. We went back, they said the processor was most likely shot and so was the antenna. The processor and the antenna worked perfect before we left it in there hands. We asked why they didn't check this before repairing just the screen and they said that they usually do and that it must have gone unnoticed. Just like the new screen they installed malfunction bad and went unnoticed. We wanted one simple thing to get a discount and the phone repaired properly. Instead they wouldn't give a discount all they could do is take back there screen,put the old one back on and give a refund. After being fed up with the lack of knowledge,Customer service, and quality of there service we went with the refund. But now they didn't have the old screen to put on which was cracked but worked perfectly. They gave us a choice of a black screen cracked beyond belief or a white screen with a single crack which was cracked in close to the same place but white(original one was black). So obviously we went with the less cracked One and the kicker is it works 10x better then there supposed new Replacement screen. But still the antenna doesn't work as it did before we brought it to them. They obviously switched the antenna or broke the one that was in the phone.Lesson Learned. Either have a knowledgeable trustworthy friend who knows how to do these repairs or Go To APPLE. It may even just be this iDropped store that has dumb repair technicians. But After this escapade I don't even want to waste my time on one of they're other locations. Thanks iDropped You Suck!! read more

iDropped, Stroudsburg Mall, Stroudsburg PA- I brought in my iPad2 after the screen was broken from being dropped. $200 later, there's a new piece of glass that's not seated properly, clicks in and out, and causes programming errors when you hold it by the edge of the device. Oh, and they've glued the main button so it sticks. I try again. After inferring that I may have to pay again, I get pissed. They take it apart and try again. Now the button doesn't stick, but the glass is still not seated and clicks in and out of the frame. And, there are screwdriver marks along the edge where they pried it open. Don't waste your money. read more

If i could give zero stars, I would. The stroudsburg location was HORRIBLE. I brought my cracked iPhone 6 screen in to be fixed on a Monday, while everything looked fine even though the screen protruded a little bit. On Friday after throwing my phone onto my bed, a soft surface, while in a case, the entire screen pops out from the phone. Indicating that it was not put in right. While trying to push the screen back in so it was not hanging off, the top corner cracked slightly. I take the phone back to the location because I was told anything they did wrong was covered under warranty for a year. This guy working tells me that although I am definitely right that it was their fault the screen came out, there was nothing he could do because i took it upon myself to put the screen back in. He says that voids any warranty and their faults do not matter. He infers that I was stupid in the situation.The best the guy would offer me was a 10% off of the $170 service of fixing it again instead of the original promise of free repair with warranty. I left because i was not giving more money to this location. HORRIBLE. Do not bring your phone here, it will leave more broken than when brought in!!! read more

I took my iPhone 6S in here today, despite reading the 2 other negative reviews about this place, and I'm so glad I did! I went and got a slice of pizza and read a few chapters of a book while I waited, and 45 minutes later I went back, and they were done early. Everything looked great! I inspected the phone before I paid, but it's flawless and looks good as new. I'll definitely be taking it there if I'm an idiot and drop it again.
