This repair at Walmart in Canal Winchester is rude. My mother dropped off her laptop charger to have him look at it a while ago. She asked him today if it was ready for pickup. He brought her out the different charger, saying "Here take this" It wasn't the correct match to her laptop. He was being mean and rude to a 68-year-old lady. My mother was distraught she had been waiting and each time she went into the store they brushed her off and said it was not ready. So I kindly asked him like when do you think it will be prepared. his reply was in a week or two saying " I am really busy today and don't have time to look for her charger" No customers or other customers were around. I asked isn't this a walk-in place and he said yes but he didn't have time. I told my mom like okay let's go and he rudely was still being mean talking being disrespectful to myself and my mother. At this point, I told my mom we could find her another cord to her laptop and we smiled and walked away. I could not believe how rude this guy was to my mother. read more

My 10 year old had broken off a charger in her iPad so we were looking for a reasonable repair place. I sent an inquiry for a quote through the iFix and Repair website and received a text back saying the cost would be $125+tax. On 5/13/22, we went to the Canal Winchester location to drop off the iPad for repair. I received a call on Tuesday, 5/17/22, & was told that the iPad was repaired & ready for pick up. We went to retrieve the iPad on 5/20/22 & it was powered off. We inquired how were we to know the port was working if it wasn't charged & was told that if any issues exist just to bring it back as there's a 90 day warranty. I paid the $137.06 & left. Once we got the iPad home & plugged it up it seemed to take hours before it would come on. After being on the charger overnight the iPad managed to get to only 12%. The iPad sat on the charger for over 24 hours & finally reached 100% so I thought it was okay & the initial charging issue was a one off. My daughter was using the iPad with her wireless headphones and & drawing with her third party "Apple" pencil throughout the day & things were fine. The following day I ended up purchasing her an authentic Apple Pencil & attempted to connect it, but it wouldn't respond. For the first generation Apple Pencil you must plug it into the charging port in order to sync it via Bluetooth for the initial connection. The iPad failed to identify the device being plugged in after many attempts. Two days later, the iPad is back to 2% & again will not charge. I return to the store & explain that the charger port is not fixed & explained the issues with both the charger & the Apple Pencil not being identified. I was told no problem & that they would make it right. About a week passes & I receive a voicemail on 6/13/22, that the iPad is fixed & ready for pick up. We went to the store during regular business hours three different times that week & were unable to pick up the iPad as nobody was there. I called finally on 6/16/22 to confirm if they were open as we've made multiple trips & was told that they would be open until 7. This time it seems as if the charger port was actually fixed as it charged at a normal pace. I attempted to pair her Apple Pencil & saw that the Bluetooth had been disabled & the switch to turn it on was gone completely which was incredibly odd as it was there and functioning properly prior to taking the iPad back to the store. 6/18/22, I called Apple to get live support & see what was going on with the iPad. I spoke with a rep who connected remotely to the iPad & ran a diagnostic test. The Apple rep advised that the software did not have any issues & that the diagnostic report showed that the Bluetooth error was from the hardware & explained that it was disconnected inside of the iPad. I asked how this could possibly occur & was told that the only way it could happen was when the iPad was opened up for repair & suggested I return to the store that caused the damage. We returned to the store the same day & explained to the man at the desk, Nabeel, what was going on & what would discovered through the Apple diagnostic. Again, Nabeel took the iPad & said it would get fixed. 2 weeks went by & I heard nothing so I called the store to check status. I was told that there was nothing that they could do. I asked for a replacement and I was told that the manager would call me to discuss my options. 5 days passed with no calls or emails from the manager so I called again on 7/7/22. I was told that the manager said he wasn't going to call me & that they weren't going to replace the item and couldn't do anything so I needed to just factory reset the iPad or something. I'm so upset at this point that my child's iPad was damaged by them now to the point where she can't connect her Air Pods, Apple Pencil, or any Bluetooth devices. You go for one repair & get things back BROKEN. This business took my money and moved on with no concern. Please save your money and avoid these crooks! read more

Fixed in less than 30 minutes!!! I smashed my phone screen and LCD. It was a disaster and in about 20 minutes, these guys had me fixed and out the door. Not to mention, I had two kids with me so time was of the essence and I was not disappointed. Awesome place. I hope I never have to come back but I'll be sure to recommend them in the future. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Originally I gave this place 5 stars, but now I am taking them all back. The guy who replaced my new touchscreen damaged the inside of the screen causing lines throughout my screen. I took it back within the allotted timeframe to have it fixed under warranty and he immediately located the hairline crack causing the issues which you had to hold out your tongue, squint one eye and close the other, stand on one foot and tilt the phone in the right angle of light to even see it. He tried to blame me and argued with me. He said he'll contact the seller of the touchscreen/LCD and see if they will send them a new one and he will call me back right away. I never heard from him again. It was obviously his doing and he was saving his own arse. Avoid this place at all cost. They do not own up to their mistakes and probably will find a way to avoid paying for warranty issues. I ended up taking my phone to a reputable business, and they pointed out how the hairline internal crack got there during reassembly. read more

I have had 4 iPhone screen repairs in the last year. I have had iFixandRepair replace the screens 3 of the 4 times. Hands down, they are the friendliest, quickest, and most affordable. The manager, Israel l was incredibly helpful and friendly, and gave me a very good deal on my repair. I also really like the convenience of their location and won't bother wasting my time trying to go anywhere else. The only thing I wish they had is a couple of chairs for individuals who want to wait for the repair, but that's minor compared to the really good service you get. read more

Normally I repair my own phones but with broken back glass on the iPhone this was not an option. I called around and struggled to find anyone who could do it because removing the old glass requires a special machine that most repair shops don't have. When I called IFixandRepair for a quote I was in disbelief when he said $95 (this is a GREAT price compared to the cost at the Apple store), so I emailed to see if I would get the same quote and I did. They were super fast to answer the phone and provide quotes by email. They said the repair would take about 3 hours. I dropped it off around 2pm and he called before 5 to let me know it was finished. For $102 out the door my iPhone is as good as new! It was a pleasure doing business with them, plus their prices and quality of work are so good I probably won't bother fixing my own phones anymore. I took my iPad Pro this iFix in Reynoldsburg and will never take another item there again. I gave the "tech" my ipad and had to ask for a receipt that I had given it to him. I should've walked away right then. He finally gave me a receipt for my product. I got an alert from Apple that my facetime was being used on another device four days after I dropped my iPad off. When I called to inquire, he responded with oh no it wasn't used here. I dismissed it until two days later I get a email and text message from American Express to say someone had accessed my credit card number electronically and made a fraudulent card and attempted to use in at a gas station. Apple, upon my communication with their customer service, informed me that Apple products store numbers on your computers and anyone who has access to that device could retrieve your credit card number (which I knew). I immediately went to retrive my IPAD pro and discuss this with the owner. The clerk got the owner but was very rude. They dismissed the possiblity that my number was accessed from their location and informed me that I had no right to question security measures and integrity. My biggest issue with this place was they were extremly rude, would not let me finish a sentence, refused to allow me to pay for my tablet and leave until the owner got her husband (the tech) on the phone. They were so concerned about me "ruining their reputation" that they never apologized if by chance my card number was compromised at their location. Held me there to continue to argue about my right to express my concern and displeasure with my service. They even asked me if i worked! Not even sure what that had to do with anything, but the answer was of course I do. The owner informed me that they make 100rd's of thousands of dollars a year so why would they steal my credit card number for $200. I also informed her that if I treated my coustomers like they were treating me, I would be out of a job. Horrible customer service on all accounts. And yes I will be contact Walmart Corporate office and telling anyone who will listen about the horrible service I received from this business. Just take your devices back to APPLE! No fraudulent activity ever occurs on my accounts when they have been serviced through the Apple store. That's what I get trying to save a buck. read more

Well, not even 1 month in with the new screen repair. It is back to the way it was before the repair. I went to 2 locations to resolve the issue and both are closed for inventory and reopening with new management. I have a feeling my warranty will be up before th ed you reopen. read more

I was quoted a price by someone who said he was the manager. When I went to have my device fixed, I was told that it would be more that $100 more! When I asked for the "manager" with whom I had previously spoken, I was told that "we took over this business a few days ago." I asked if he was still going to honor the price quoted and was denied. I will take my business elsewhere - - even if it means paying the same amount at another location. read more

After waiting 3 months for them to call me to tell me my screen came in, I went back to the store only to discover they had no idea what I was talking about. This was after I prepaid over $80. The gentleman was very nice and offered to reorder the part but he had no idea why I had to prepay. I was then informed that the money I prepaid did not cover the entire price to fix my device, and I was going to owe an additional $125 to complete the repair, and I'm sorry but this was their mistake, I had already paid before, and it's been since April that I spoke to someone. I'm sorry they had to fire a lot of people but I'm not even sure I would have fixed the tablet. I could've bought a new tablet for the price they are going to charge me. I'm not at all happy about the extra money that I was not prepared to pay. The only positive thing I have to say is that the gentleman who took care of me was professional. read more
