I was a bit wary but decided to give it a go. David and Duncan spoke to me in plain English and explained what they needed to do. That was on the Thursday. After a few phone calls and emails to get all the relevant details correct, I was amazed that by the Tuesday the website was already live. Duncan, who does the designs created lots of content and he said he was using Google friendly coding to help the website appear high up in the search results. I was, and am so pleased, I just had to recommend them - I even signed up for Yelp to do just that. I never normally leave reviews, but these guys deserve recognition in an industry that has done nothing other than let me down in the past. Not only did it look and work great, but they were also able to track it for me. So every time it got scanned it was recorded. I was able to tell who and where people were seeing my advertising which helped loads. It was only £30 as well which was much cheaper then I thought it was going to cost. Just a quick warning about webworks internet…read more I was promised a site with the needs I had. Once i had gone through the over complicated process of asking for what i wanted they designed it missing out a large part of my request. This took months. When i called them to say this wasn't what i wanted i was told to pay more money. they then designed it and despite having asked for an updatable page I was then told to update would cost yet more money. Each time the extra cost is at a reduced rate so I'm getting a good deal. Their simple updater didn't work so I had to use an FTP updater which is a huge difference, much harder to use and not as advertised. This then took them a further month to set me up with. It also blocks my access every 2 weeks so I have had to call up each time to get unblocked. In total this took me over 3 months to setup a bad looking website with no functionality that cost me over 300 pounds. I then tried to get out of my domain hosting with them to be told it would cost 100 pounds. After a few emails and phone calls I got this down to 50 and I just paid out to get rid of their service. I have subsequently managed to achieve a new hosting and email service provided by godaddy who have great customer service. I then used squarespace to design my site. They also have great customer service and an intuitive web design. With no expertise and some proper customer care I achieved an amazing looking site for less than 100 pounds a year.
