They sell them til they run out at around 10 or 11am so next time I'll go earlier. Meanwhile I did munch into a toasted sandwich with eggplant & mozarrella, and verily, it was the greatest toasted sandwich I've ever eaten. I didn't even put cracked pepper on it, that's how good it was! The coffee was great, it's in the back lane of Gould St so no beach view but a beach view would just take your concentration away from your tastebuds anyway so that's probably a good thing. 100% yum.

It's fun to just wander around, unattended and unsupervised, staring with amazement at the crazy flavor combinations. The majority of the breads are spongy and delicious. But some of them are also really oily. The "naan" is crazy, and made its oily presence known all over my steering wheel. And it was also packed full of onions. I don't know about you, but I've never eaten an onion-flavoured naan before. Not good, but not bad enough to turn me off- there are just too many scrumptious options. Instead, I've learnt a lesson, and will stay away from the flat breads in future.

I love pretzels (and they make a couple of styles) and most of the ones I see at the mall are either hard and dried, out or greasy and buttery. These pretzels on the other hand were fresh and baked with just enough sea salt to give it a little bit of flavor. This also seems to be the local spot for coffee. St Honore are all about the sour dough and with so many varieties, sizes & shapes, you definitely can't go wrong. Parking along this strip is hit and miss - head onto Balfour if you don't mind a stroll around the leafy neighborhood.
