So I got my eyebrows microbladed about 8 weeks ago. In the before pics, you can see that I do have…read morebrows, but they are fairly thin throughout and especially sparse towards my nose. This was something I researched and read about for a good year and a half before finally getting done. While I have used a pencil and then brow gel for the last 5 years or so, I was tired of spending time on my over plucked brows and just wanted a good filled in look that I didn't have to do anything to! And over all, it has been an extreme success. I've saved so much time in the mornings not having to fool with my brows. Now, I will say that my brows are not even and I am waiting to do my follow up appointment to hopefully fix. But as a day to day, what I have works. On the other hand, I also got an eyebrow lift/perm. That didn't take at all. I was extremely disappointed in the outcome from that and would not recommend that at all. I've gotten it done several times before in another city, so I know what it's supposed to look like.

The woman doing my nails didn't file them properly (one side smooth and the other not even touched after being cut) and another woman had to step in to file them. She went after some parts of my cuticles like they had insulted her yet left other parts untouched. The hangnails after this are impressive. When she started painting them the polish wasn't smooth. It was so thick it was like a puffy nail polish. I got up to look and see if there was another color that was good from a newer bottle. She came over to take off the polish on the two nails she had done and used a dry paper towel. I just left. When I got home and looked at my nails I noticed she didn't even fully take off the clear polish I came in with. My manicure here has me doing my nails at home. Definitely will not be back.

I looked into three salons in the area and Jan Arch looked to be experienced, have good feedback, and good pricing. (Salons were priced $10-12 for this service.) Threading was being done for a male--first time, so very purposely didn't want it to be drastic or super obvious. Figure a more gradual and subtle transition is better for men. She works very quickly, and we are very pleased with the service.

I always enjoyed his conversations with his customers. I usually put on my headphones, but we talk the whole time. He is so friendly and professional. I highly suggest making an appointment with him because he is usually booked. He has been there for many years and has a good clientele base.
