Very rarely does a restaurant in a touristy area have tremendous food, a very good bar, and reasonable prices. This is it.
I'm in Brazil a lot, 5-7 times a year. However is my first visit to Ilhabela.
In the little village, there are many restaurants. Many. If you go to Ihla Camarao first, you'll want to go back continuously and not try others.
Having now gone 2 nights in a row, I would put this restaurant in my Top 5 in Brazil, probably my Top 3.
My wife is Brazillian (born / raised) and she says their Moqueca is absolutely excellent. All that I know is that it was truly the first (and second) time I have thoroughly enjoyed the dish.
We (party of 4) tried some apps and even had a dessert. All were very good. The beef dishes looked excellent and well prepared.. maybe next time.
Absolutely a meal you will enjoy. read more
