Our drinks didn't arrive until about 20 minutes later, and our food took nearly 50 minutes. The timing was especially frustrating because there were very few people dining at the time. The restaurant itself is beautiful, and the food was actually really good. Unfortunately, the service completely overshadowed the experience. During the wait, none of the staff checked in on us, apologized for the delay, or gave us any updates. Instead, several employees were sitting on their phones while we waited. To make matters worse, another group that was seated after us received their food in about 15 minutes. I'm not someone who usually leaves negative reviews, but this experience was disappointing enough that I felt it was worth sharing. I'm hoping this was just an off day because the food has a lot of potential. As it stands, I'm not sure I'd recommend it or return the next time I'm in Mexico City.

The menu is simple and clean (with items leaning towards European while still having Mexican cuisine options) with lots of healthier options. I ordered a chicken breast stuffed with goat cheese in a tamarind sauce with some healthy grains and steamed vegetables. It was exactly the kind of light dish I hoping for, and I really enjoyed it with a freshly squeezed juice and a coffee. The service was good, and it was just a lovely place to enjoy a meal in San Ángel - the kind of place I'd love to sit with a book and relax for a few hours! I'd be happy to return.

As soon as I sat down my belongings and pulled out my laptop since I was there to study and maybe grab a bite to eat if I got hungry, the waiter approached me with the menu. Later on I started to look around and see if there were any wall outlets to plug in my laptop and I was informed by one of the other waiters that the only outlets they had available were upstairs to my surprise none of them free and available. I came back downstairs to my table and the waiter that had first approached me and kept walking back-and-forth very eyeing me as if trying to figure out my next move.
