I am reporting this company to the Utah Insurance Department and any other relevant regulatory bodies where they are listed. I was initially introduced to this agency by my ex-spouse, who already had a policy, and we combined our policies after getting married. For years after our divorce, I was falsely told that it was legally required to carry motorcycle insurance on an inoperable bike. Despite repeatedly arguing that insurance was unnecessary since the vehicle could not be driven--and even threatening to switch to a competitor--they refused to cancel the policy. I ended up paying for this unnecessary policy for six years. No such law exists. I have receipts documenting every conversation, which I am submitting with my formal complaints to the state. Additionally, I inquired whether I could obtain a direct policy with Progressive without going through an intermediary "agent." I was explicitly told this was not possible and that all policies must go through an agency. This was another blatant lie, which I discovered when I contacted Progressive directly to update my address and policy. Since moving to another state, I have learned that everything I was charged for and told up to this point was false. DO NOT, under any circumstances, do business with these crooks.
