Inside looks like a student flat with all different furniture and sofas, a real dream. Plenty of space and a really relaxed chilled out vibe. There is no table service so order at the bar. Everyone working here s really friendly and happy wich is always a plus. A great find and not too expensive. A real yelpers bar!

Well I'm writing this update because nothing has changed with WerkzeugH and that's the most awesome news of all. WerkzeugH is still a five-star hugely popular hangout where you can drown your sorrows in beer after an FK Austria Wien loss or a Philadelphia Phillies defeat .... or you can philosophize about the world you live in - from the awesome to the suck. This is still the coolest Lokal in Vienna - outdoors or indoors, Sunday brunch or Saturday evening. Hipster, bobo, striver, loser, philosopher, musician, grandpa, grandkid - all are welcome here. But listen - if you get worked up because you are going to both smell ... and probably smell of ... smoke, if you can't stand waiting for food that may or may not be delivered to your table in this century, if you expect an ordered world that you have some control over - WerkzeugH is certain to be your hell. Kindly just hang at another pub. However, if you can view chaos as a first step towards a higher level of consciousness ... and you might somehow manage to survive a walk to the WC through wifts of cigarette smoke sent spiraling into the air by dozens of people engaged in deep conversations all around you ... and you are capable of eating your salad with a spoon because no one can find a clean fork at that moment in time - then hike, bike or U-bahn it over to WerkzeugH and relish one of the most timeless places in Vienna. There are lots of establishments in other cities that strive for the intense chill oxymoron that characterizes this unique Lokal - from Munich to Berlin, Budapest to Prague, Paris to Barcelona - wannabe cool places try so hard to approach the ambience of this coming-together spot with its post-industrial nooks and crannies and colorful Schanigarten filled with attic-rescued mismatched furniture. But the fact is - there is only one WerkzeugH in this entire world and that one WerkzeugH is in a very old city called Vienna .... and in a very cool district named Margareten. And you will probably upgrade your mobile phone five times and counting before the engaging atmosphere of this modern-day Viennese institution will undergo any change!
