Thought I'd give it a go and see for myself: A friend and I decided on a well deserved study break and headed over to zero95 for a woodfire pizza. We arrived around 1845 on a Wednesday night to find the place bustling! Outside the door is a crate full of blankets prepping those brave souls who choose to dine outside in winter - nice touch! We walked in to find a queue of people waiting to pay for their takeaway orders and meals blocking the small enterance. This lead to wait staff not noticing us standing there hoping to be seated. After asking the cashier for a seat we were finally seated. We ordered the Arancini which to our delight was served with delicious bolognese sauce and topped with fried cheese! We ordered the Etna pizza - San Marzano Tomato, Fior Di Latte, N'Duja spicy paste, Roasted peppers and Basil (see pic) which was as delicious as it sounds! The pizza base was soft and fluffy.. green, red and yellow peppers added character and the spicy paste was tasty with a touch of heat. Half way through our meal we were asked to move to the bar as they needed our table for a group booking. We willingly obliged to being reseated despite not being advised of this when originally seated. Our new seat was next to the coffee machine, service area and main through way - very noisy and congested! This new seating put a dampner on our dining experience. Although the desserts looked amazing - we opted to get the bill and leave as we felt we were in the way of wait staff, other patrons and the long line of people waiting for a table. I'll definitely be back again to try other pizza's, dessert and to give the lack of customer focus/service another go... stay tuned

It doesn't look like it's going to deliver much from a casual glance but actually, Jimmy's is churning out above average pizza here. Crisp bases, fresh and tasty ingredients, and quick availability. I picked my tandoori chicken up ten minutes from ordering. They probably won't win many awards, and it won't be the nicest pizza you've ever had, but you could do a lot worse. It's a solid choice.

I'm going to go with the latter because I saw good service with other tables as well. This meal felt really authentic. I've never been to Italy but I've tried a lot of Italy-Italian food and this place ranks pretty high up there. I forgot how much a cocktail with amaretto and lime is sooooooo good. I forgot how hot salami might be better than pepperoni. I forgot that arugula salad with balsamic glaze goes so well with red sauce pizza. Pro tip? Order the lasagna croquettes and keep the sugo for your pizza crust and some of that fresh grated parm for your pizza.

Because of all of these reasons I'd love to say the pizza's are great...but they're not. With the exception of the Pepperoni Pizza, I've yet to be able to eat more than one slice of any other variety; and for a person who can generally down a large pizza in 15 minutes, that's saying something. The bases are nice enough and it's not that they scrimp on the topping, I actually think the problem is that they're over topped. It seems the meat is never fully cooked and I can fill the bottom of the pizza box with shredded ham and still be left with more than enough on each slice. And regardless of whether you pick your pizzas up as soon as they're ready or if they're delivered (always hot), mine always seem to be slightly soggy and as much topping as is on each slice of pizza they are oddly tasteless. In saying all of this, if you enjoy pepperoni pizza, they're pretty good and because they only contain pepperoni and cheese they're always cooked quite nicely. Or, if you've had a few too many beverages and require some good beer food, you really won't notice how bland or over topped they are.
