On our last day in Italy we stopped at 8am for caffe, etc. We stopped here for two reasons: one as it was close to our Airbnb and two, quite simply for the name of the bar itself. We were greeted with clear disinterest. We ordered two cappuchinis which were served luke warm; ordered two waters (one for each of us) which were served in two different size glasses (?). There are a lot of trees and the feel is very homey like a big family gathering place. Sitting is all outside in the square, not many tables but sufficient to host few groups. It is one of the few places open on a Monday evening. Good service, very friendly. Good wine choice with few good aperitive and cocktails. Food is small dishes tapa style all Mediterranean very Italian with of course a very ample choice of local cold cuts like prosciutto, salame, coppa and so on in Manu variations with mozzarella, parmigiano cheese. My mozzarella and panciata (sweeter part of a great prosciutto) came with stellar sun dried and fresh tomatoes... Basel and of course great olive oil. Just sit down and let the great soft city sounds of a car free zone keep you company while sipping a great wine and have some local flavors.
