Basically how this place works is that you buy a drink (12€ regular, 15€ large) and it comes with the buffet. There was a huge selection of drinks so there should be something for everyone. If you get the large drink, it comes in a huge cup which put us in awe. You pay once you get your drinks, which come pretty quickly. The buffet was actually delicious and a lot to choose from. Paired well with the drinks, but of course LOTS OF CARBS! My favourite was the potatoes, pizza, and little sandwich. Everything is a perfect bite size. The employees are super friendly, even though they don't have to be because they're not working for tips. They were helpful and kind. It brought a lot of ease. I told the employee serving us that she was pretty and she gave me a hug! She was so sweet (small tan skinned with curly hair). We then opted for the salmon poke and seared tuna salad (their version of the nicoise). The salmon poke was not bad. The seared tuna salad excelled in both plating and flavor. The tuna was fresh and lightly seared, and the vegetables were also fresh and prepared perfectly al dente. As the restaurant was quite empty, after the initial unpleasantness, we enjoyed a peaceful, relaxing lunch. While we wouldn't "rush back" to Bamboo Bar, it's well located, has a pleasant ambiance, and the seared tuna salad was quite good.
