The street can get a bit noisy, but once you're inside, it's a peaceful retreat. There are plenty of drinking places just outside the hotel. Interior - The hallways are spacious and accessible for those with disabilities, and there's also a small elevator or stairs available. You might hear some footsteps from guests entering and exiting their rooms, though. I'd suggest checking out the restaurant just outside the hotel; they offer a sweet 10% discount for hotel guests. The hotel was incredibly clean, though it had a bit of a college vibe with IKEA-style furniture. Getting from the Naples train station was a bit of a challenge, especially with our large luggage, so we ended up taking a car service. The only downside is that you have to hand in your key each time you leave. They do have a 24-hour front desk, and the staff is incredibly helpful, friendly, and accommodating. I initially booked a queen bedroom, but they upgraded us to a larger unit with stairs and a loft-like feel. I wouldn't recommend the loft if you have mobility issues, as the bathrooms are upstairs. There's a sofa downstairs. Overall, I recommend this hotel for a walk, ability and access to some of the touristy spots. However, it is pretty far from some of the other highly rated pizza places or the coast. You're really depends on what you're looking for, but I do think this is the best hotel in the central Naples area. It was very safe.

Leave your key when you leave the hotel, buzz in when you get back. They know your names,your room and everything in between. Obviously, this town hasn't seen that many tourists and well, that's a good thing in my book. If I go visit families again, I'd probably stay here again. Big rooms, basic beds, good breakfast. Quiet and cute hotel. It does the job for it all.

There's a rooftop terrace that overlooks all of Benevento and surrounding areas, and the hotel itself is a wonderful place to stay. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure your needs are met and I left there feeling like I had been really well taken care of. I highly recommend this hotel - AND it's walking distance to many of the town's historical sites, as well as shops & plenty of restaurants. The town is a beautiful small town and I can't wait to return!

I went here on a business trip. Let me first say that the area is gorgeous, but I guess that's the…read moresame pretty much anywhere in Ischia. This place was a bit old school as mentioned by others since it was built in the 1950s, but the decor and architecture gives it a nostalgic, classic feel with a bit of charm. Looking through the guest book it was really cool to see past celebrities that had stayed here. I had to laugh when I saw Van Damme posing in the hotel lobby. They really did a wonderful job catering to us since we had a huge group and were probably paying a pretty penny, but I can give a few highlights that stood out: - Outdoor heated pool is incredible with a fairy-tale backdrop. It's basically an overflowing pool on an outdoor deck near a bar with the island of ischia and some of naples in the distance. I'll post a picture but it's really beautful. - Service is outstanding. If you have issues with anything in your room or need advice on local spots, ask the front desk. They're very friendly and accommodating. - Each room has a fairly large balcony and apparently some even have a jacuzzi out there, though I wasn't lucky enough to get one. Still, it's nice to crack open a bottle of wine and relax as you take in the view. - The restaurant is also top notch and you really can't go wrong with most items on the menu. While pasta is a no-brainer, I also thought the a few of the fish dishes were really good. As long as you're okay with a hotel that has a bit of a retro feel you'll love it here. Highly recommended. Most people, myself included, would not think to go to Ischia, especially if you haven't been to Rome, Florence, Venice, etc. But I must say this is a beautiful place and it's worth staying at the Regina Isabella.

Our previous hotel in Naples, as well as the one we stayed at in Sorrento, didn't have much floor space and we barely had space to open both our suitcases. We had to put at least one on the ground and step over it every time. So I really appreciated that I could walk around normally with both suitcases open. Hotel was clean overall, and location was nice. It was by the water so had a nice view. And there were a bunch of taxis parked next to it so when we had to take an early morning taxi to the airport, it arrived within a minute or so of the hotel "calling for a taxi" (which actually meant someone leaned out the door and waved one of them down). I'd stay here again.

Basic continental breakfast offerings at 20€ / person and 6€ cappuccino when the coffee shop right around the corner was much better and something like 7€ for 2 coffees AND pastries The temp in the rom only had a 4 degree range and it unfortunately was not the range we were seeking so could not get comfortable. And for a 4 star hotel. We would have expected to be able to adjust our own temperature The bathrooms were super cramped when there were both toilet and bidet. The door would not open all the way as it bumped against the toilet and we had to sandwich ourselves in between both to brush our teeth - with the added joy of the backs of our legs constantly bumping against either or both. Zero counter space. Nowhere to place towels for fear of it falling into either commode But given the location and the quiet room, we still have to rank this as A-OK
