I've visited Classico Italiano twice now, during separate visits to Germany and the food is consistently delicious. To start, we ordered the Carpaccio. The beef was so flavorful and given a nice drizzle of extra virgin olive oil & topped with arugula. I've had this appetizer at several other places in the past and Piazza Nova's certainly outshines in taste and freshness. The pizza I ordered was top notch: fresh ingredients and a crispy crust done to perfection. It is classic Italian style thin crust pizza with many choices for toppings. The wine list is nicely done with a variety of wines for every taste. For dessert, we split the Amaretto Sundae made with scoops of amaretto & chocolate gelato and topped with whipped cream, amaretto flavored wafers, amaretto liquor & chocolate shavings.
