Ho deciso di andarci con mia moglie Giorgia e la nostra famiglia Australiana, venuta dagli USA a trovarci per qualche giorno insieme. La cordialità e la professionalità della Signora sono di livello assoluto. Dopo aver messo a dormire la nostra piccola, ci siamo fatti accompagnare dai ragazzi (da segnalare il sommelier e il buon Stefano) in una esperienza di gusto e vista incantevole. Non mi soffermerò moltissimo su ciò che abbiamo mangiato per lasciare spazio ad immaginazione e, soprattutto, al desidero di andarci! Sappiate solo che il crudo della casa è qualcosa di dipinto a 4 mani, dallo chef e dal mare. Che le linguine sono pazzesche... Che il risotto è mare allo stato puro... Che la ricciola al Campari è tradizione e innovazione... E che Giorgia, la golosa di dolci dei 4, ancora ricorda lo zabaglione con quel Porto che Stefano ci ha sapientemente versato... In quel periodo un metodo classico francese dal meraviglioso rapporto qualità prezzo ha innaffiato le nostre cene...ah beh, si...perché quasi dimenticavo...siamo anche riusciti a farne una To Go...e nonostante gli avvertimenti super gentili e accurati che le linguine gluten free avrebbero potuto non essere altrettanto buone a distanza di minuti e che la teciada non avrebbe espresso gli stessi sapori...naaaaaa...troppo gentili ad avvisarci ma la qualità è stata meravigliosa anche nella nostra terrazza!!! I had the ribeye, but not like an American ribeye. This thing was very wide, but not thick like we get back home. The flavor however, was awesome. My wife had the fillet, which was excellent. I tasted it as well and it was very soft and tender. It came with a nice cheese sauce, but it was a little overwhelming, so we took some off. The prize of the night was the fried polenta. There are some wooden benches covered with seating pillows. In the middle of the restaurant is a square 'island' bar, without bar stools. The tables are not set. When food is ordered the cutlery is put on the table but needs to be laid in place by oneself. There were tv's at various places however. If this is what you like, be aware though. There are not enough of them to guarentee everybody on a table will be able to see one without turning around. The menu has a large selection of beers, though few on tap. 3 out of about 8 bottled beers were not available when we asked for them. One of the beer glasses had a chip. The edge of the beer glass was sharp because of the missing peace. There was a beer special going on (a poster on the wall told us), but when we got the bill the normal prize for this beer had been charged. When we pointed this out it was changed (without an appology). The food selection is large, but apart from a steak with baked patatoes or pizza, it contains mostly 'lunch style' food based on bread. The quality of the food was high for a pub, not for a restaurant. The music was to loud for a restaurant in my opinion and 80's songs were played. Only two other tables were occupied when we were there between 18:30 (opening time) and 19:30. I immagine this is a place where groups of young italians come as it is not too expensive and the music is quite loud.

We came two days in a row and got stuffed every time. Their beer was great. We had the biggest pitchers, four at a time. The ambient was quite noisy, but festival kind. You ate, drank and shout, no body gave a glance. Great place to eat and to have a good time.

A Restaurant with a great choice of food and beer. And yet…read morethe food just taste great here. I was here several times, eating pizza und some specialties. Everytime the food tasted great. They also have a variety of beer here. (beer from Belgium, Netherlands, France, Germany). The Brasserie has a great interior room, with old desks and benches and an outdoor area where you can also consume your orderd food and beverages. I highly recommend this restaurant!
